These twin ramps are easy to expand to their full length. It takes just a push of the buttons on the side and they slide to full length. When finished using them to get into or out of our house, they slide back just as easily. We haven't needed the portability aspect of the ramps, yet, but will be taking the ramps with us for trips anywhere other than to her orthopedic surgeon's office where we know they are wheelchair accessible. If we are going anywhere else, the zip pouch is easy to use and the handles of the zip pouch fit perfectly over the handles of the wheelchair and do not slip off. We were out of state when my wife fell and broke her ankle, so I ordered this from Amazon and it was waiting when we got back home. Without it, I don't know how we would have gotten her into the house. With these ramps, it was easy. The ramps are light weight, but they are plenty strong. They easily support the weight of a manual wheelchair and the person using it. The only issue of concern is that the front and rear wheels must be in line. Some manual chairs and many powered chairs have front wheels set narrower apart than the rear wheels. That will not work with this type of ramp.

These ramps are well made and the length works well for a couple of steps. They fit nicely in the included carrying case and aren’t too heavy to take with you if you’re going somewhere with steps. There are some sharp corners on the inside edges to watch for. I like that there are two ramps so you can adjust the width to fit your needs. Glad we purchased them, they work very well.

I was excited when the product arrived, after I opened the package, the 2 plastic cover are already broke but they don’t affect on the functionality so I said ok. This is a 5 feet ramp and I used it on a 3 steps stairs on my grandma, it took me a long time to adjust both ramp to make it right for the wheelchair wheels and the first time I used it, it already hurt my wrist, it’s so hard to use and it took so much strength for me to push the wheelchair up with my grandma on it, my grandma is only 130 lb and I’m not a weak man (Marines since 2001). This ramp can probably only work for a one step stair, I stopped using it after the first try, as I don’t trust it’s durability. And they don’t even accept return. Totally a scam product. Buyers be aware.

If it were just an inch or two wider it would be perfect. As is, you have to be careful with keeping wheels lined up so they do not catch on the raised sides. Tricky for a wheelchair user to go up on his own, but I consider it borderline dangerous to come down without assistance. Too easy for the casters to catch on the sidewall. At steeper angles it works much better coming down backwards with an assistant helping. But you still have to be very careful to keep the wheels lined up in the center of the ramp. On the plus side this is a very light, compact, portable ramp. Easy to carry in any car and quick to set up and break down. Provides us with more options to get into homes of friends with only one or two steps up. For that we are grateful!

I was so excited for this to arrive for travel over Memorial weekend. Sadly, when opened, one of the ramps opened just fine, but the other wouldn't extend as the release button was bent, making it unusable. The cloth case that it was sent in has a nylon zipper that is split and won't recover and hold. Manufacturer- if you're going to make something so cheap, don't bother. I would have rather not been pleased that this came with a storage bag, than to have something so cheap that it doesn't even hold up to taking it out of the box it came in. This manufactures website gives you no option to send a comment about the product and to request a replacement. I'm thankful Amazon refunded the cost, now, debating on whether to reorder. The ramps seem sturdy enough for the task at hand, but feeling a bit gun shy.

Very light weight, handles chairs with ease- none skid liner works great and travel case makes it a breeze to bring with you - can even carry case on back of wheelchair. Simple to set up easily by one person. We have an electric chair and it handled the extra weight easily. Fold down handles makes loading into SUV a breeze. Less struggle = more freedom with mobility.

I had to order these wheelchair ramps; and, attempt to use them to discover the outside lips are too high, and the ramps too narrow for motorized wheelchairs. That should be included in your product description. It's impossible to see that from the picture. Otherwise, I would recommend to persons who use manual wheelchairs. I am sending these back for a full refund. Sorry, for the delay: I didn't use them until I had a doctor appointment on July 9, 2013, I was so sure they would work for me. And, they are very well made, and sturdy.

Lightweight!! Couldn't all for better product for convenience and size. Telescoping feature works well. Love this ramp track set. Highly recommend for getting wheelchair or unoccupied light electric wheelchair into vehicle or up minor inclines- stairs. Would love to see this in longer length. Use caution with wheels that are offset as the width of the ramp sides might scrape or the height of underside of chair may be to low. Otherwise just measure, and measure... know your product and ENJOY.

The wheelchair ramp is quite unstable and not suitable as a ramp. It would be extremely dangerous to transport a person on a wheelchair through this ramp.

This ramp is awesome. It is light and easy to use. It extends into different lengths for different number of stairs. We have three to go up and it works great. For the price it a great value.
