Honey Bunches of Oats Pecan and Maple Brown Sugar Cereal, Heart Healthy, made with Whole Cereal, 14.5 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I love this flavor of Honey Bunches of Oats, but it has become unavailable in my area (likely discontinued, but their website didn't state this.) When I saw that they were offering this here on Amazon, I was willing to drop the ~$4 per box price, to get a fresh stock of it. I was quite disappointed to find, however, that the cereal I received have very little flavor. It tastes more like the almond flavored variety.I wanted to make sure that it wasn't just my memory (or tastebuds), so I opened my LAST box ( I was saving it.....) that I purchased locally. Indeed, that taste of the old was vastly better than the Amazon ordered boxes. I don't know if this is a regional flavoring issue, a new formula or a counterfeit product, bit it is NOT what I was under the impression I was ordering.....

I love these pecan maple Honeybunches but I guess my local Meijer doesn't carry them anymore (I've seen them other places). So I got a case, just to be sure! I'm happy every time I pour a new bowl. Dee-lish!

Great tasting cereal.

By far my most favorite flavor of Honey Bunches of Oats... and it's discontinued.Very glad Amazon supports retailers that carry hard to find products.

This cereal tastes so good.

Is it just me or does anyone else get the rock hard tiny pieces in their cereal too? Can’t chew them without fear of breaking teeth. I almost always get them in this one and chocolate but the original almond flavor has never given me this trouble. And this is after same hard pieces found in about 4 different boxes of the pecan one. Just be careful!
