can i use these of i pierce my ears with a needle?

Sure you can. But the post of the earrings come in different mm (thickness) so read the description of the earrings.

How long are the posts?

Standard size? They’re the exact ones used for piercing guns

how much thicker is this post compared to a regular post?

two times larger than a regular post

What gauge are the posts?

I’m not sure. This was the EXACT product used to pierce my 4 mo old at her pediatricians. I bought this as back ups in case one fell out. They are double loop backs that snap into place.
