So far so good
I recently ordered one of these for my wife's school. I received it a few weeks ago, so these will mostly be first impressions. It's a 5 star purchase for now, but I will update the review if my opinion changes.1. Initial quality *appears* to be decent. It does not look like a poorly made bag, though a few of the other reviewers' experiences might suggest otherwise. My wife plans to use this primarily with wheels (which seem pretty sturdy), so I'm not sure when or if the arms straps will be put to the test.2. Some of the reviews suggested that the size may be too small. I don't find that to be the case. It's an average-size adult backpack, with a little extra thickness for the handle assembly. You could certainly find bigger if you wanted, but this one meets our needs comfortably.3. I'm not sure if it was mentioned already, but there is a pocket with some token padding for carrying a laptop within one of the sections.04/06/17 update---------Almost 2 years have elapsed since I ordered this backpack, and it is holding up just fine. I will qualify that by saying my wife has never used the arm straps which were apparently problematic for some. The bag doesn't have any holes, the wheels work fine, and it still looks good, despite fairly regular use. We have no regrets about the purchase.----------------------------

My Great Grandson is in the 4th grade
My Great Grandson is in the 4th grade. He is a little small and the regular backpacks was just too heavy with the load of books that he has this year. At first he was afraid his peers would make fun of him. He did get some questions from a couple of 5th graders as to why he had a rolling back pack. After I explained that they probably wanted to know where he got it a s their book load is heavy also. It carried it on his back a couple of times but it was not long before he came rolling it out and he has not carried it since. As for the quality of the backpack, I am very pleased. The three separate pockets are great as well. The first is to organizes pencils, etc. but we use it to pack his early morning snack. He uses the second pocket to carry a pair of shorts and sleeveless T for his running club. Finally but the very most important pocket is the last. It is large enough to hold all the books he has to carry. It has a pocket that would hold a laptop or I-Pad if needed. The color combination is also very nice. I give this pack 5 stars

Wish it really was pink
This is a really nice backpack. Based on Quality I would give it 4 or 5 stars....and I will be for the Blue one we also ordered and received....I am taking one off because of the two we order, the blue is great. We just received these today, one blue and one pictured as pink. If you look at the pictures of the "Pink" back pack. It does show a pink backpack. There is a very distinct color difference from Plum. I missed that color name when ordering, that it says plum. There are NO pictures of a purple pack. The ones in this list as of this date are showing the pink one under the Plum name. My daughter was really looking forward to having it for first day of school, she was very upset. We will be returning this one and purchasing last years model since it IS available and being sold in Pink. Wish what was pictured: Pink!updated: we bought this Model in PINK from another websight of a national chain store for the same price.

Great bag, ergonomically perfect.
The wheels are very sturdy and smooth rolling. Handle is smooth with no problems. Zippers function well. This size was perfect for my 6th grader. after filling with several heavy books, it's taller than expected, left a lot of space inside at the top, so her lunch bag went there. If you stuff the main compartment, there doesn't seem much expansion space for the other 3 smaller sections in front. That would be my only complaint on design (that was different from her non-roller backpack). But that is amendable, and you can section off your contents as appropriate. Otherwise, the straps are comfortable, the back is well padded as well, and the straps can hide away in a mesh pocket so that they don't drag on the ground. The plum is like a muted raspberry color. Not bright, not dull, just perfect for her age.

Decent backpack, and good price (for a rolling backpack)
The inside of the backpack is fairly roomy and the extendable handle seems to be good quality. I like the larger wheels for rolling over grass as well as the sidewalk. I wish it had a band of plastic or something on the back in order to protect the fabric as it is rolled up curbs. The side net panels work well for some water bottles, but a 20oz bottle doesn't slide far enough into the net and comes out occasionally.

Disappointing
I like the product but I have a few functional issues. 1) placing The laptop pocket in the front vs in the back towards the handle interferes with the functionality of it because when you slide in binders and books it catches on the pocket and stretches it causing the laptop to fall out and if there is a laptop in the front and you remove all books/binders the bag will tip over. 2) The frequent use of the telescoping handle wears on the latches to keep the handle extended. 3) the bag isn't as spacious as advertised... When I have my MacBook Pro in the laptop pocket, I can only fit one 3" binder, one text book and two 5X7 journals and even with that it's pretty tight fit with the journals having to be placed horizontally on top of the textbook. Very disappointing because I really liked the look of the bag and the material was well selected.

It's good, seems sturdy with a nice handle
This is my daughter's backpack for her 5th grade year. It's good, seems sturdy with a nice handle. The one thing is her water bottle tends to fall out... that side pocket while it seems deep enough... does not hold her water bottle well and it's fallen out on more than one occasion so she has to be mindful to watch out for that. But otherwise so many pockets, great size, holds all her stuff well.

looks Tiffany blue, more Teal green
can't write review on how sturdy it is, my, son will be using it for school so will update that part of review. About the color it is more of a dark Teal green instead of the Tiffany blue that it looks like. My son was ok with the color so I did not return it.
