When you first see this item you will probably think “this is cheap” or “what the hell do I do with this?” Well, I absolutely love it. What I love most is that it is MADE FOR my car. I have a 2020 Honda Civic sport. I have tried air vent phone mounts which either fall off or block AC and as a Southern California resident I am not trying to block the AC. I have also tried dash board mounts that literally work for ONE DAY: because as soon as it cooks in the sun the sticker part no longer adheres to my dashboard. This mount goes over your emergency lights, it doesn’t block AC and it DOESNT MOVE! However, here is my tip. On day one I also believed like some other reviews that it did not stay mounted BUT FEAR NOT. All you have to do is push the device into the car. There are very subtle “latches” (don’t know what else to call it?) that snap into the bottom of your Ac vent and the top. Due to it subtlety I didn’t realize I had to really push that in for it to attach. As soon as I did that I haven’t had any issues! It’s fantastic. Highly recommend!

Have to take the phone off the protective cover due to popsocket being attached to it. Can't pull phone out without the USB type C cable getting disconnected.

*UPDATE* I like it and don’t. The phone holder is small, so you cannot have ANYTHING on the phone. (Tried a pop socket at the strip holder) BUT the base is perfect. I bought another holder (vicseed) and snapped it onto the base and works great! (Rating down to 3 stars only because I need 2 phone holders) Fits perfect! Only thing I would change is that you can only place the phone upright. I wish you could turn it so the cord is not in the way when charging. And had to take my pop socket off🥲. iPhone 12 Pro- for reference.

Easy to install and hasn’t broken on me (yet). Use it with a iPhone XS Max with case on. Doesn’t rattle and holds my phone in stable in any orientation and position: fantastic as the iPhone XS Max is one of the heaviest phones I have ever owned. Should fit with any size modern smartphone as the arms collapse to grab your phone in place.

Came with scratches on it. The spring to take the phone off the holder is so weak that it takes two hands to get it out. CarPlay cable goes down right in front of your infotainment system, but you can put it to the side. I used WD-40 to try to get it looking better and give it some lubrication. It’s so funny how the arms are metal but the important parts are clearly made from cheap plastic. If you have 2020 Civic don’t even bother with this. This is $20 too expensive

The holy grail! I never had any luck with the window stick phone holders or the vent clip holders, but this....LIFE SAVER! It slides out Easy if you don’t want it in the way, or I just leave it there all the time because I always use it! Fits my iPhone 11max pro with a case!

Don't like this product at all. It is so loose, my phone and the mount keeps falling off. The hold and sturdiness is terrible. This is what I get for buying cheap plastic products.

I have had a lot of trouble finding a phone holder for my Honda Civic, and this one is perfect! Easy to install, doesn’t block my vision and fits perfectly with the narrow air vent.

I wasn't too sure if this would fit properly when i opened the box to be honest! Material is fine, mechanism of the phone clamp is okay too. I was unsure how it would fit on the dash. To my surprise it just clicks in and honestly it clicks in perfectly! So far pretty happy with the fitment and overall quality of it!

This product is only for Left hand drive honda civics (USA) it doesn't fit right hand drives as the slope of the air vent goes the other way and the mounting bracket doesn't fit the place where you have to put it.
