Let's Go Aero (SHP 2080 1/2" Silent Hitch Pin with Lock

Bought a hitch cargo carrier, and this thing not only takes away much of the wobble, but acts as a lock as well. Super easy to install. All around really glad I bought it.It really, really works. I was suprised!

I'm not giving a full rating yet since this locking pin didnt fit into the holes of my Allen 532RR bike rack. The 4 star rating is for the idea of the build and quality. I'm sure it's very effective however, the square no wobble bracket that goes into the sleeve of the bike rack doesnt fit, just a hair too wide. I'll have to Shave it down with a file or something, either on the no wobble bracket or the inside sleeve of my bike rack. This is extra work. But dont wanna return it, I wanna try to make it work. Too bad this Aero locking hitch pin wasn't guaranteed to fit any type of rack or trailer you buy size.

Great for the price but the lock washer is flimsy and needs to be tightened periodically I will find a beefier one to see if that eliminates the wobble over time

It fits the hitch and locks it in place so there is no more rocking and swaying with my bike rack.

Think I got a manufacturing defect. The pin extends too far though receiver for the lock to be secure. Comparing the received product to the actual size picture on the packaging leads to this conclusion. Emailed LetsGoAero but they never responded. Going back.Interesting - wonder if this was previously returned as on the package is an Amazon label "Thanks to you, this product has a second life" ???

Works great. My Allen bike rack stops wobbling. The metal plate fits my 1 1/4 hitch just fine. This was the only thing I was worry about from other reviewer.

I bought this to attach my Allen Bike Carrier securely to my Tucson's trailer hitch so that it wouldn't rattle and would be easily removable. The product is supposed to fit into a 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch, but the metal spring loaded plate does not fit into the 1 1/4 trailer hitch on the end of the Allen Bike carrier. It's width is about 1/16" too wide. Forcing it to fit would require grinding down the plate to fit into the Carrier's hitch opening. Many of the reviews on Amazon for that bike carrier mentioned this exact product for the Allen Sports model 532RR. The reviews were incorrect. I bought this back in the winter months and just tried installing it yesterday now that warmer weather has returned. The Amazon "return window" has expired, so now I'm stuck with a $25 paper weight.

This hitch pin live us to its name. I have been driving around for over a week with this pin securing my bike rack to my hitch. There is absolutely no wobble at all on my bike rack. I don't drive slow and I averaged about 50 miles per day driving on the highway with speeds in excess of 70 miles an hour and the pin did not loosen up at all. The installation is pretty easy and straight forward. As an added bonus, the pin locks so I don't have to worry about my bike rack getting stolen. Lastly, you only need one wrench, not two to tighten the pin, which makes it just a tad easier to install. A socket wrench works best.The only reason I knocked one star off is because I had to dremel off some burrs to make the metal block fit inside the hitch opening on the bike rack. Also, the instructions say to use a 3/4" wrench, but that is too large, the correct size is 5/8".

The Lets Go Aero was exactly what I needed. The hitch is held rock solid with no rattle. Easy to install and use. If I lost it, I would buy another.

Useless, it arrived without keys.
