Love my KitchenAid
Who wouldn’t love a KitchenAid?! My old one finally bit the dust after 35 years so I purchased this new one. I tried the bigger one where the bowl lifts up and down and hated it. Nothing wrong with it, but I just am so used to this particular model. Love it and all of its’ attachments. And of course the quality of a KitchenAid is always great.

Worth the hype
I was skeptical that the KitchenAid was worth the hype, but I was wrong. It is a marvel of engineering, heavyweight, easy to operate, and super easy to clean. I wanted it in this shade of red, which perfectly matches the other touches of red in my kitchen. My baking game has improved by leaps and strides, especially pound cakes, which I make frequently. I don’t even put it up, but leave it on the counter.

High value bundle!
I'm not going to review the Kitchenaide Artisan here, simply this color and bundle. Bought it during Amazon Days at an attractive price (thanks Amazon) and it included the flex-edge beater, a must have for these mixers IMO, increasing the value here. The Gloss Black color is a great choice as it is easy to see dirt and keep clean too, unlike some of the pastel, metallic or white color ways.

Feeling a little cheated
I recently purchased this stand mixer and love it. One of the reasons I bought it was because of all the attachments included. Item description (and rufus) said it comes with a pouring shield. MIne did not. I contacted KitchenAid directly and they said a shield is NOT included in this bundle. Amazon said it is supposed to have a shield. Hmmmm. They said I could replace it but it's very heavy and I don't want to go thru the hassle of returning it AND possibly get another without the shield. I ordered a shield thru KitchenAid for $25!!! I will eat the $ as opposed to the return process but can't help but feel I've been a little cheated.

Can't believe that I waited so long.
I have wanted a Kitchen Aid mixer for at least 30 years and have always put it off because I couldn't justify the price. Now that I finally broke down and bought one, I see why they are so expensive. I was shocked at how quickly it creamed butter and sugar with no effort whatsoever. This is a relatively quiet mixer compared to my Sunbeam. The Sunbeam was adequate, but I was never quite satisfied. I love watching some of the baking shows and, of course, they are all using Kitchen Aid mixers, so I finally bought this one. If you are taken aback by the price, please remember that you get what you pay for and this is a machine well worth the cost. The only drawback (which is probably one of the reasons it is so good) is the weight, it's pretty heavy. Mine did come with two small scratches that were down to the metal and they weren't due from shipping. The other drawback is that I will gain at least a million pounds from making cakes and such, because it's so much fun to use. Buy one, you won't regret it.

Mixer makes life simpler
OMG this is the best gift I have ever purchased myself. I am so glad I brought it. Baking has not been easier. It has been like adding more has to assit me with my tasks. Using all the different attachments are also helpful. Making bread and pizza dough has never been easier. Love this purchase, and yes I would buy again.

Great value!
This KitchenAid is excellent. The scraping paddle is so helpful in keeping batter from the sides of the bowl. This is my second one as my 40+ year old one is starting to finally slow down. Worth every penny!

Amazing!
I had no idea what a game changer this mixer would be, even on low it mixes really well and so fast. Huge time saver. I have no idea why I waited 65 years to get one lol

– Had to return it due to common KitchenAid defects I finals.
I finally bought the 5-quart tilt-head KitchenAid (Empire Red) expecting decades of reliable service. Instead, it arrived with two of the brand’s most notorious issues right out of the box. From the first batch of cookie dough on speed 2, the mixer vibrated violently, walked across the counter, and made loud clunking noises. The bigger problem was the head lock: no matter how firmly I pushed the lever, it refused to stay engaged and kept popping open. Within 10 minutes the locking mechanism failed completely and wouldn’t latch at all. These are textbook KitchenAid complaints—excessive wobbling and a faulty tilt-head lock—but on a brand-new $350+ unit they’re unacceptable. Support processed the return quickly, yet I shouldn’t have to send back a flagship appliance because basic functions don’t work. Extremely disappointed and now shopping other brands.
