They're 3/4" as described,. Quality is definitely better than the many pairs I've ordered off Ebay over the years! BUT, these are definitely not Kevlar reinforced Tow-Straps. "Though they feel thin-ish, I've received allot thinner from other place,! These are intended for "fashion" without being "fashionably-weak" so they are "thick/puffy looking, and there isn't allot of density if pinched between the fingers. But the thread used is strong enough to through over a pipe/bar and do a NON-Jerking. slow and easy pull-up(165lbs I am), And Maybe they would handle more torture, but I didn't chance it... Anyways, IF you have 8" tall boots like I do, Get a hold of the company or dig deeper than I did into their available items. You MIGHT be able to tie a bow at 54"-55" inches, but not at 52", NOT if you lace all the way. The other pair, same thing, different color, worked perfectly on my 6" boots! I wasn't worried about it, I buy "Side-Zip" boots. Lace-It-Up-One Time, dab of glue...DONE!
