Mammoth Air Purifier Q3 Real Wood Desktop 4 Stage Purification with Fresh Air HEPA, Odor Carbon, Ion Ionizer, with Adjustable Fan Speed– Cherry Color

So, the purifiers I had purchased a year ago for my son and mines rooms were nice. Till I found out a few months later that the filters hadn't been made in over a year yet QVC was still selling the purifiers. So, we now need filters so I hopped on here and after serious searching and more searching I found this one. The color is beautiful. You wouldn't have to hide it in your living room when guests are coming. It's nice for white noise but the fan in my room kind of fights with it to do that. With in 30 minutes max of plugging it in the air in my room was fresher, cleaner, so much more pleasant. I have 3 quail that run around in my room during the day and yes, they have dander but its the outdoor allergens that come in our house that kill us. My breathing is easier, my asthma is much better (results may vary), my eyes aren't itching. I am ordering my son his next month. I just might buy my patents 1 for their bedroom, 1 for their tv room, my brother and his family 1 for upstairs and 1 for downstairs for Christmas with extra filters.UPDATE: it is September 8, 2015 and I do believe I waisted my money! These things do NOTHING! I'm still having allergy issues and this is 3 feet from the foot of my bed on a short bookcase. Heck, I turned it sideways with the output facing the back of my small desk fan and my desk fan is now all dusty. I wonder if I can get my money back.

This replaced an Ionic Breeze. I loved the completely silent function of the Ionic Breeze but did not like the ozone smell and was concerned the output was too high. I chose the 4 stage Mammoth to not risk being annoyed by the plasma generator and I am very pleased. The air is obviously cleaner, and seems fresher and sweeter. The fan sound is unavoidable but the output control allows me to run it higher when I'm out of the room and lower or even off when I'm in the room. There is no ozone smell. I confirmed that the ionizer is functioning, but I suspect the output is a lot lower compared with the Ionic Breeze, which is what I wanted. If you want a silent air purifier or one with a permanent filter then this is not the unit for you. If you don't mind airflow sound and the need to replace the filter every 6-12 months (6 recommended) then this is a great option. To me it's one of the best looking air purifiers out there.

This air purifier is a god send for my office. I was sick and tired of dealling with stuffy nose and sneezing throughout the day at work. I have a big unit (different brand) hepa purifier at home and it's made all the difference in my quality of sleep. I wanted a smaller unit for the office. My office is fairly large 15 X 20 and this does the job. I was a big concerned that this wouldn't do the trick, but it does. I' very happy with it so far. I can see the UV light's blue glow inside. The cuute zen design is a perfect match for my office. Very pleased

I don't know about the poor review regarding damaged product or all the positive reviews being paid for. I DO KNOW that I am tickled pink with with this air purifier and am going to purchase a large one for my home. My office is in a very old building. I have spent 15 years and LOTS of money trying to control allergies and oders. I had some success with Blueair Airpod but the replacement filters were $60 and then only when you can find them.Since they were not available I took my $60 and bought the mammoth. After 24 hours running non-stop my office air is truly clean. No sneezing, coughing, water eyes, and the musty "old" smell is gone.No one paid me to write this review.no one gave me a free unit. I bought it and it works beyond my expectations. My office is only about 8x10. The unit arrived well packaged and in perfect condition.

Love this one! I have the larger Mammoth ozonater that is too strong for daily use, although amazing for purifying major air issues. This one is great for daily use. Using it in the bedroom to clear the cigarette smell that infiltrates my apartment from neighbors. Reasonably quiet and super for ongoing, daily air cleansing/ionizing. Looks attractive and the blue light that eminates from the unit is very subtle. The wood housing is attractive.

Not a happy customer first purifier i got made a really high pitched sound (poor quality/defective ionizer). got a replacement at no cost to me it doesn't make the noise yet but in time im sure it will. Essentially this thing is a wooden box that has a pc cooling fan mounted to pull air through a filter in the bottom. this is the q3 model im speaking of. Bottom line the build quality is cheap VERY CHEAP. Not worth even close to what i paid for it. It does purify the air but poorly. Id be better off running around the room with the filter. bottom line choose a better company to deal with.

Seems to be working - there's less dust and smell in our living room (which is right by the back porch where tons of dust/outside smells come in). It is somewhat noisy though. I probably wouldn't buy it again - I'd find a quieter one.

We returned the unit because it emitted a persistent high-pitched noise. If you intend to use the unit in a quiet room (i.e. bedroom) and are sensitive to high-pitched noises look elsewhere. On the positive side, I was impressed with the build quality.
