Amazing Landscape speaker system. Best value bar none!
We are very pleased with the Jamo sound system that we purchased. This was a DIY effort for an exceptionally large and awkward pool space. We purchased two of them[at the sale price] and daisy chained the speakers For 70 volt mode. The product was packed really well and the system was a steal of a deal bundled as a kit. You can tell they meant to sell the items individually as every item was boxed separately. Running wire and connecting the system was relatively easy; however, the configuration documentation left much to be desired. But the [Klipsch] support staff was remarkable and walked us through our DSP setup issues over the phone.Once you connect your audio player and start streaming, the sound is incredible. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it is concert level sound. We will determine over time how robust the system is in the South Florida heat, but it has withstood monsoon season thus far, so we are calling it a win.If you're considering these, don't hesitate any further get them (especially if they're back on sale). Its the best value period!

Very good system
This is a very good sounding system, and with the Sub-woofer, makes it even better.More than fills the whole yard with sound, and since the speakers are on stakes you can make for more than one 'Sweet Spot" as you can have overlapping fields of sound. If your looking for more than just a Bluetooth speaker in the yard, or some truly quality sound,I use a Heos Head to feed the Amp, works Fantastic, Stream, Bluetooth, WiFi, They all work, PERFECTThe Speakers are Mids to High, But that Sub can fill the whole yard, so makes a beautiful blend.I would recommend this system, as I do actually use this system almost daily,

Crisp Sound
Installed the speakers in my yard and connected a Sonos Connect to the amp to control the music. Very crisp sound thus far. Documentation lacks a bit on configuring the amp but with some googling its achievable.

The real deal! Fantastic value compared to its competitors!
TLDR; Buy them - they're great and you won't find anything better for the price that includes an amp and a 10" sub.The concept of using smaller satellite speakers and a subwoofer has been around for a very long time but more recently has risen in popularity for outdoor speakers. Often times outdoor speakers will consist of two larger speakers mounted on the exterior of a home pointed towards the listening area (typically away from the home). The beauty of these systems is that not only are they are great looking and blend into the landscape, but they allow you to point music towards the listening area (towards the home instead of away) and play at lower volumes because there are more speakers. The speakers and amp come separately and are both packaged very well. Upon unboxing the speakers, I was pleased to see that each speaker included waterproof wire nuts for each wire lead which was a nice touch! The satellites are solid, heavy and well-built and the gray color will easily blend into any type of landscaping. I have absolutely no worries about leaving these open to the elements - something to note about these speakers vs. their competitors. They have metal grills. When I originally learned about these type of outdoor speaker systems, it was by way of the Sonance Sonarray. Upon searching for reviews on Amazon I found pictures of several Sonarray satellites with sunbaked and cracked grills and decided that satellites with metal grills was the only way to go. Lots of manufacturers use plastic grills: Sonance, Niles, Episode and many others - so definitely a plus for Jamo here. The subwoofer has a handsome gun metal finish, and is much smaller than I anticipated and won't stick out at all once buried. The subwoofer provides a sublime and well-rounded low end that when paired with the JDA-500 amp blends seamlessly with the satellites. I've spent 15-20 hours listening to these speakers at varying volumes and even when driven extremely hard the sub doesn't exhibit any signs of port turbulence (chuffing) - just smooth bass, and it can get loud too!The satellites with their 4" drivers are loud and clear. The satellites are "full range" and play the highs and lows - while they have highs, they're flatter sounding than speakers that have a dedicated tweeter so it's a little different but still great! The Sonance Sonarray is the same way - and as far as I know there are no landscape speaker systems of this caliber that have two-way satellites in this price range.Something else different about this particular package is that it uses a constant voltage 70v system. This is usually only found in commercial audio systems that have many, many speakers with very long runs. What's nice about a 70v system - no worrying about impedance or for the most part - wire run length. Each satellite speaker has a static "tap" of 25 watts and the wiring is super simplified - just daisy chain them together and you're good to go. Another plus is that all speakers will have the same audio level - no hot spots (e.g. some satellites playing louder than others). The audio will be mono - but that just means both audio channels (Left and Right) will be mixed together so each satellite speaker will be playing a stereo sound. To test this - I played several songs that have distinct stereo separation, for example Pink Floyds "Money" played with faithful reproduction of both channels emanating from each satellite speaker. Pretty impressive! Several other reviewers have commented that it sounds like a 'concert' - which is completely accurate. While this is an extreme over simplification, when you go to concerts the engineers will mix in all the audio to emanate from each speaker so no matter where you are in the audience you get both sides of the audio. Can you imagine how funny a concert in "stereo" would sound? And something that hasn't ceased impressing me is how you can't tell where the audio is coming from because of the way they are mixed - I absolutely love it!The amp is fairly easy to configure - just select your configuration for each channel (8 ohm or 70v) and it will put in all presets for each speaker model. The only thing that was confusing and I don’t even know if they intended consumers to do this, was updating the firmware. That process wasn’t smooth at all and I still don’t see some of Jamo’s newer speakers like JR-4,5 and 6 rock speakers in the DSP. Hopefully these will be added later. The other thing that was confusing and kind of disappointing was the manual – the manual wasn’t clear about the wiring or configuration at all – I had to do a bit of extra reading to make sure I got it right.Over all – these speakers are a steal for their price, features and sound! I definitely wouldn’t consider another brand or package in this price range. As a matter of fact – when they go on sale I will be buying a second zone to cover even more of my yard. Well done Jamo!

Concert level system for the back yard...
A very nice kit with everything but wire needed. Can’t believe the way it sounds! The little satellites come with stakes and can be placed everywhere (comes with 8 but don’t have to use all). The subwoofer is amazing! The 10” has major bass! The amplifier has many wiring options to use and easy to log in from any device (directions included).. All I needed was speaker wire. Get the amazon 16 gauge 2 conductor in a 500’ box (about $50).
