LifeProof FRE Series Waterproof Case for Galaxy S10 - Retail Packaging - Body SURF (Cement/Gargoyle/Hawaiian Ocean)

I have had a LifeProof case on my S7 for several years. I LOVED that phone case. When I had to upgrade the phone to an S10, LifeProof was of course my first choice. This case was not up to LP's standards... the fingerprint adaptation did not work even through instructions were followed precisely, the case did not fit the phone tightly (the phone slid back and forth inside the case), and the slot over the front camera was in the incorrect spot. I still love LifeProof cases, hoping they improve this one soon.

Case is heavy duty and very protective. However, the front screen protector on the Fre has what must be a design flaw. There's a weird plastic piece (circled in yellow) welded to the rest of the screen protector that might have been intended to provide extra protection to the camera, but it doesn't line up with the camera. It lifts the screen protector from contacting the screen, making the top part of the screen difficult to use.

I was a huge fan of Lifeproof FRE cases as the one for my Galaxy S5 was fantastic! When upgraded to the S10, I immediately ordered the Lifeproof FRE as soon as it was available & the difference in the quality is profound. The door covering the charging port does not securely latch, so I immediately lost confidence in its ability to be waterproof. The plastic window over the camera lens scratched within the first 2 months making all the pictures look hazy. This was very low quality overall compared to the previous model.

I submitted a warranty claim on their website and ended up paying $8 in shipping, dont feel this should be my responsibility but oh well. The second case has now scratched over the camera cover so badly that all photos are blurry........again, keep in mind this phone stays in my pocket almost all the time. This case has only lasted 1 month and 28 days. Both times ive found this camera cover damaged was while sweating, unsure that its related to the failure but it maybe, life proof won't get back to me on that. The quality of this case is not worth the price by any means.

This case does not appear to be genuine. Lifeproof states every case will have a serial number attached inside case and this item does not. Lifeproof customer service also states FRE cases for the S10 come with fingerprint scanner stickers included, and the item description/images state it works with biometrics... this item does not include the fingerprint scanner stickers.

I am so disappointed with this case. For the price I would have expected better. Lifeproof suppose to be everything and I was let down when I put case on my phone. It doesnt fit properly and the the fingerprint doesnt work at all.

Got the case, it is genuine lifeproof. Did the water test, check. Put my phone in this thing and suddenly I can't use facial or fingerprint locks. As in ANY biometric security. When I try to reset these with the phone in the case, it says that my finger isn't on the sensor even though I'm mashing it down so hard it feels like the stupid thing is going to crack! Its a LIE to say this thing works with biometrics. IT. DOES. NOT. Waste of 50 bucks if I can't actually use my phone the way I was BEFORE I got this stupid case. What a rip off!

Wish I would have read the reviews first. The fingerprint will not work. I could not get the sticker to stick. The case does not fit securely around the phone. There is a weird piece of plastic that I assume is supposed to go over the front camera but it doesn't line up. I would give zero stars if I could. Lesson learned to read the reviews first! Don't waste your money on this case. I guess I'll have to try the otterbox.

Just got this case today and was unable to use the fingerprint sensor at all. Turned the sensitivity up on the the phone and I kept getting error message while trying to use the case... In their ad and pictures presented said works with biometrics, that was a lie or a dishonest remark because this case does not work in that aspect from reviews you have to buy an adapter sticker to get it to work which might have been important information to post rather than a vague "works with biometrics" and then the Lifeproof case comes in a box saying NOT designed for Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner. Might be an important fact to include in the product description in ANY FIELD rather than no field at all?Also the phone does seem loose in the case, everytime I press the screen this airgap in between causing an annoying clicking sound and feeling. Not even 2 hours and it is by far the worst $100 I have spent.

I will always recommend the life proof cases. They are amazing. You get 1 year warranty on deffective products. It's a little costly but worth it if you don't have a phone protection plan. Only thing that doesn't work is the biometric finger scan for unlocking your phone, but if you can get past that it's 100% worth it.I don't recommend this, but at your own discretion you can take it to the pool or have it in the shower and not have to worry about dropping it in the water or getting wet Just be sure to test the case WITHOUT your device in it (as instructed by the warranty/direction for use booklet) to ensure the case seals properly and does not leak. Comes with the screw in head phone jack extension.

For a lifeproof case it is horrible quality. This case has not held up under every day use. Pieces of rhe case have broken off, scratches to the lense. Horrible product and was replaced with in 8 months of day to day normal use.

Have always bought lifeproof cases, they don't last the longest but because of their warranty it's worth the extra money. HOWEVER DO NOT BUY THIS CASE IF YOU WANT THE WARRANTY. They are apparently no longer making them and will not replace them, instead of giving you a new 100$ case they will offer you 15% off your next case through their website. They do good to protect the phone but usually screens gets so scratched its hard to see out of after a few months. This time the charger cover broke off. Not worth it without the warranty.

We received this in the mail a day earlier than expected, which was great! The quality is good, a little tough to remove if needed. The colour is nice as there is not many “manly” options other than black which is more pricey. The touchscreen still works the exact same as before the case was put on. We love lifeproof!
