Can you pair two of these in stereo mode?

Yes, and you don't need the app to do this. Power on both speakers and press and hold the Bluetooth button for about 3 seconds on the 'main' speaker (connected via Bluetooth to your device), then press and briefly hold the Bluetooth button on the other speaker; the stereo-pairing should then set up with a confirmation 'three-note' sound on both. Both speakers then connect to each other in stereo-mode every time they are both powered on. Both speakers can also control the volume/playback transport/power-off in sync.

Can you keep this plugged in and "online" for use with Echo?

It is possible to use while connected and charging, however, like most rechargable devices, this will prompt persistent recharge cycles that will kill the battery in no time. This can produce "unexpected" behaviour, like turning off, or failing to draw sufficient current to maintain audio quality. So, while you _can_ do it, you probably shouldn't.

Will they make different colour versions of these?

Is this true stereo or just the same sound from both left and right channels, ie mono? Many thanks.

I dont know what technology is used but the soundscape seems substantially better, to me when using 2 speakers-not just twice as loud. There is a noticeable spatial effect.-Hope this helps, I have just been listening to the same music through 1 and then 2 speakers to compare
