... for my Carlo Robelli Resonator so it is much better than the chipboard case
I bought the case to replace a chipboard case I had for my Carlo Robelli Resonator so it is much better than the chipboard case. It is well worth the money, however, the depth measurement was not correct. It closes too tightly against the resonator bridge cover plate. I measured my guitar before ordering and used measurements given by the manufacturer in one of the reviews to make my decision to order. According to the measurement given the case should have had just enough clearance to cover the bridge cover without any pressure to the top of the resonator cover plate. I had to smash the padding down in the top and bottom of the case to get it to close. I am keeping the case in hopes that it will eventually give in the area where it applies stress on the top of the bridge cover . I would recommend allowing a little more tolerance when measuring your resonator guitar if you consider ordering this case. As previously stated, it is well worth the cost and Amazon's price was the best I found with free shipping

Not bad at all....in fact, surprisingly good for price.
This arrived packed to the 9's. Unlike a previous guitar I ordered! Kinda backwards, IMHO. Anyway, the case seems to be moderately well constructed. The interior is sufficiently padded for a classical, albeit not the highest quality padding, it will get the job done. I gave $41 for this...I have spent 3 times that on cases that weren't the same quality. The latches connect (which was my primary concern). The durability of the latches remains to be seen, but I handle things carefully and expect they will also hold up.All that being said, I didn't buy this to house a $2k guitar. Nor would I recommend that to you. However, if you want a good solid case for the price of a decent gig bag, look no further. If you are considering a gig bag...DON'T DO IT! You will scratch and dent your baby up, and waste your money. Just sayin'.

I like it, but it was damaged
I like it, but it was damaged, most likely during shipping since the package box was damaged. Hardly any package padding was included in the box, which may have helped prevent the damage. The Carrion brand logo was added to the case in the form of a raised rubber stamp that was glued onto the side of the case. I don't mind the logo, but it wasn't shown in the add and it appears that it could come off in the future and leave a mark on the case. I would rather not have that kind of logo, but I'm okay with it. All in all, it's a very nice case and I ordered a replacement.Replacement case arrived okay.

Works OK for light duty, better padding than typical chipboard case
This case is of OK quality, and has that "Chinese manufactured goods" smell that lasts for a good long time. Not the "rubber manufacturing plant smell" a la Harbor Freight Tools, this has a more acrid, biting chemical smell, maybe a formaldehyde derivative. Just like my much more expensive (but still cheap) Epiphone case. I've had mine for maybe 6 months, and it still easily overpowers the sweet, subtle wood aromas of a fine guitar. That said, it offers better protection than a chipboard case, but less than a real case. An airline would probably destroy this is about three flights. It's fine for the back seat of car, though, and the inside is pretty well padded. Mine arrived slightly damaged (small tear in the outer cover), but gluing it back in place with a little white glue was less trouble for me than returning it. Overall, the case is pretty much what I expected for the price, and it is fine for storing an inexpensive guitar in the closet, which is how I use mine.

Velvet lined Hard Guitar Case
The inside of this hard case is the big draw. It is velvet lined and feels very plush and secures the guitar very well. It holds my son's classical acoustic guitar snugly with no extra wiggle room. Also has a hidden compartment for a tuner, picks etc. It comes with a small key for one of the latches but it doesn't seem to work (doesn't matter to us). There was a small split/crack in one of the outside seams on the top of the case which we chose to tape rather than return given the price and hassle. It came packed in paper in an extremely large box.

I love the case
I love the case! It is quite sturdy and doesn't appear to be of cheap quality, etc... I've only had it for less than one month so don't know if that will change. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the case is advertised specifically for square neck dobros. The square neck will NOT fit! I didn't return the case since my husband is handy and took the neck support out, modified it, and then replaced it. Now it is fits perfect.
