Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Leather Case, Honey - fits all Paperwhite generations

I was worried about buying this case because it was so much more than other cases. But my other cheap case was just not working out. The cover shifted around while it was in my bag, causing my Paperwhite to turn on and then it would stay on for hours and my battery was draining super fast. Part of the reason I love my Paperwhite so much is how long the battery lasts. So, it randomly turning on in my bag and staying on for hours and draining the battery was just not working anymore.What drew me to this Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Case - Lightest and Thinnest Protective Genuine Leather Cover with Auto Wake/Sleep for Amazon Kindle Paperwhite is that the magnet cover is super strong. I can throw it in my bag and it does NOT shift around or move and stays completely shut. It is very well made and I actually like the feel of it. I love how the Paperwhite snaps into the cover. It is perfect.I wanted a bright color so I could find it more easily. The pink was out of stock for 2-3 weeks, so I ordered the Honey color. It is a really pretty color and I am glad that I picked this color!

I was really excited to receive my Kindle Paperwhite with the self lit screen. I figured this would eliminate the need for the lighted cases I have used for previous Kindles, which added weight and bulk to my Kindle. Funny enough, I discovered, after using my Kindle Paperwhite for about a week, that I really missed having a cover on my Kindle. Without the case I was always worried about putting it in my bag, and I missed the weight and feel of it in my hands when I read. And I suppose, after owning two previous Kindles with cases, I was just used to having it there. It felt strange without it and I didn't enjoy using my Kindle as much without it.I ordered the official leather Kindle Paperwhite cover in the color Honey. The picture is a little off on this color. It is actually a true French's Mustard yellow. That is pretty much exactly what it looks like. Yellow is not a color I would normally go for but I find this cover bright and cheery and it looks really good on my Kindle. The bright yellow rubber bezel inside the case does not distract from my reading at all. I don't even notice it once I am into the book. My only concern with the yellow is how fast it will get dirty, especially the bright yellow bezel inside. Time will tell.This is probably my favorite Kindle case so far. I like that Amazon has gone back to the less slippery pebbled leather, and that it is pebbled on the front and the back of the case. The pebbled leather also doesn't mark up as easily as the smooth leather of the Kindle Touch case. I also love the magnet that automatically turns the Kindle on and off when you open and close it. That is probably my favorite feature. It just makes the Kindle so effortless. The front cover is very slightly padded, which makes it feel like it offers a little more protection. I have had no problem folding the front of my cover all the way back, as some people have complained about. It is a sturdy and well designed case.I only have one small complaint about the case, and this is just a personal preference, I much preferred the fleecy fuzziness of the inside flap of the Kindle Touch to the new almost denim like material in the Kindle Paperwhite case. Not a big a big deal, I just think it feels a little scratchier and not quite as nice on the hands when I bend the cover back.Overall, I am very very happy with this case and I am so glad I bought it. Amazon makes a great case.

I am an owner of an original Kindle, a Kindle Keyboard, a newer basic Kindle and a Kindle Fire. I have covers for all of them. I even have the lighted leather cover for the Kindle keyboard. Hands down, out of all of my devices and covers, the Paperwhite with this cover is my favorite! I bought the yellow and really love the color. The cover goes on fairly easily and is very snug, almost becoming part of the device itself. The quality is exceptional. I am constantly throwing this into my purse to take my Kindle with me and no scratches or stains! Wipes off easily with a damp cloth. I love the magnetic closure and the fact that it puts my Kindle to sleep or wakes it up just by opening the case. What a great touch! The front flap flips back all the way, and flat, making it very comfortable to hold in one hand. It is very light weight and sturdy. I completely agree with the product description and strongly recommend this product.

The cover not only protects my kindle it also looks nice and has the underrated feature of turning on/off the device as you open and close it. Might not sound like much but it is so nice not having to ever mess with the on/off button on an electronic. The cover fits so snugly over the kindle that it is actually hard to get it back out. since I never need to take the kindle out I am glad that it holds it so tightly. The leather feels nice. I went with the yellow one and am glad I did. Yellow isn't my favorite color and I normally don't get yellow on anything or wear yellow but for some reason I thought it would look nice and it does. Very glad I went with this cover as I was thinking about one on etsy that made it look like the neverending story book. Cool ideal but was expensive, held the kindle with elastic straps and didn't have the auto on/off feature.

After purchasing my Paperwhite I decided I needed a cover for it and decided to go with the Amazon cover. After debating which color I wanted, I couldn't chose between the Honey and Royal Purple, I decided to go with the honey because I wanted something a bit more bright. I have just received my cover in the post and I am happy with my purchase. After reading the reviews I expected the color to be much different than what the picture shows. It's not very off. The yellow is not very bright at all the best way to describe it would be the color of a mustard bottle. I like the color but I'm not in love with the color. Although a bit expensive I think the cover is worth it if you want something stylish and sturdy.
