Replaced the bad one in my furnace with this replacement & it is working well. Was a good enough price I bought a second one just in case of another failure, got to have the heat in winter. Easy to replace.

Our Goodman GMP100-3 furnace stopped working last Tuesday. My husband checked and decided the ignitor was bad. I called up the local dealer and described the problem. He wanted 180-225 bucks for fixing it. So I decided it to order the replacement part and fix it ourselves. I placed the order on Oct 20th morning and chose expedite shipping. The part was shipped at 4PM the same day(from PA to CO). Today it's 22nd and the mail man just dropped by at noon and left the package. I simply untightened 2 screws and a plastic connector to take the old part out and put the new part in. It only took 5 minutes and I got a working furnace again just in time for the first snow. I just started to worry that the part wouldn't arrive quick enough. Thank you very much for the good part and quick service. Definitely saves us a lot in this bad economy.

I bought this as a spare part, I had this part go bad once already and paid a small fortune to the repair man to replace it. There not going to take advantage of me next time, this and the flame sensor are the most likely to malfunction so I bought an extra of each saving me hundreds of dollars and inconvenience in the future, when these parts stop working so dose the furnace and you have no heat (panic) sets in fast. Also you can't beat the price, some are asking 4 times the price for this part plus shipping on the Internet. It arrived early and in one piece, this part is rather fragile and needs to be well packed and it was. My original wore out after 10 years of service so be prepared, I am now.

It works for my Goodman furnace, but the original item shown isn't the item sent, it's more like the majority other items displayed for replacement. The ceramic base on item shipped also when mounted is in direct path of the burners of which I'll have to place some spacers on to remove the ignitor out of the flame. Other than that it work great right from the box, easy fix....thanks! :-)

Great to have replacement ignitor for my furnace. My old ignitor bit the dust and this replacement was 3 times cheaper than buying locally and it arrived in two days. I have electric back up heat that got me through the down ti me of my natural gas main furnace.
