LOVE these chews!
It is awesome to find a dental chew that is safe for a teething puppy AND nutritious. I also love that it has cranberries in it to help my little girl's urinary health; and DHA to help her developing brain. My 4 month old Lhasa Apso puppy, Alexi, goes crazy for these! She polishes a small one off in about 15 minutes. I've considered getting the large ones to keep her chewing longer, but I worry that they might be a bit too big. These are a fantastic value and are much cheaper than similar brands. I tried the CET dental chews, and they made her terribly sick (and I won't consider Greenies at any age due to the ingredients). Alexi eats a corn-free, gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free diet, and these fit the bill perfectly. She eats Canidae Lamb and Rice as her food and gets these and Zuke's for treats and chews. I'm happy to have a puppy in great health, and I am relieved to find something that she loves to chew on while her mouth hurts from teething. Also, these don't leave a mess on my carpet, and they sit perfectly on her little tummy. Really, I am addicted to this product. Also, the price is great for 18 of them! I got the antioxidant ones for my Mom to give to her older dogs.

Great for Puppies! Highly Recommend!
These were the first dental sticks I purchased for my pug puppy 5 months ago. When I first started giving them to my puppy the sticks would last a while. Now that my puppy's adult teeth are pretty much all in they only last 5-10 minutes. I have tried other dental sticks like science diet and greenies but these are my favorite. The science diet one's are expensive and the price tends to fluctuate but always $10+ per bag. I tried greenies a few weeks ago but my dog barely chewed them and the first one I ever gave to him I swear he must have swallowed it whole. I've never had any issues with these sticks. My dog actually chews them and they're a great price. The only reason I tried other brands is because the pet stores in my area don't sell these. I might also mention that my puppy has somewhat of a sensitive stomach and these don't upset his stomach. They are low calorie and made in the USA. I would definitely recommend this product.

smells kinda minty to me...
i gave this a 4 star only because my teething puppy is growing fast so i was hoping for a faster shipping... but a week makes a big difference in puppy growth... she's 14 weeks old and about 25 pounds now and chews through these pretty fast...she still has lots of baby teeth and some missing but she can eat them in minutes... less than 5 minutes... but contrary to what others say, i think they smell kinda minty... somewhat pleasant... not stinky or offensive at all... bully sticks, hooves, and pig ears are stinky to me... i did buy some happy dog place (from amazon) redbarn's cow ears.. those are huge and really last much longer... for both my girls... (the teething puppy and my 6 yr old 75+ lb acd)...

Great for leaving the house!
I have a baby pomeranian and he is the biggest cry baby when he has to be put in his crate! I don't tolerate it so I'm training him to be in his crate for longer periods of time and these help. It takes awhile for him to be quiet when I open the container, but I give him one when I leave for a couple of hours and when I come back he is happy as a clam and much more quiet! I think it takes him about a half hour to eat one, but I think he's getting faster. I saw someone wondering if they should get the large to last longer and I'm thinking the same thing. They are really stinky, so I recommend putting them in an air tight container that's easy to get in and out of. My only complaint is that they are a bit expensive! I wish they came in one of those Amazon Bulk deals.

does the job
i have a 6 month old labradoodle and we noticed her breath was getting a little stinky. i got a package of zuke's z-bones dental chews. they were great, but very $$. i did some research and compared this product to greenies - i think there is less risk with this product that she may have digestive issues with these chews. she loves them and they smell nice. her breath was never that bad, but now it's back to normal. it doesn't take her that long to eat them (under 5 min), but she is a pretty big dog. i will probably stick to this product, even as she gets older.

My dog loves it! But it's expensive...
I have a 7 month old chiweenie puppy who goes crazy for these treats. I like the fact that it has quality ingredients so I feel good about giving the treats. I give him 1/2 a stick at a time because my dog is so tiny (5-6 lbs) and I don't want him filling up on these only, and it takes him about 3-4 min to eat it, so its not much of a "chew-toy" that keeps him occupied. It IS hard to cut...but I've learned to break it in half without knives. And it IS expensive...8 dollars for 18 sticks?? The price is my reason for not giving 5 stars.

These chews smell great!
These chews smell much better than most chews, they are also harder than those dentastix chews which keeps pups chewing longer. I would have rated them 5/5 stars but my Australian Cattle Dog pup doesn't LOVE them. He likes them okay, and will chew on them for a bit but then he gets bored after only a couple of minutes. So then I end up putting them in his crate, and he eventually does finish them off when he's in there. So I'm glad these weren't a total waste, but I probably wouldn't buy again since he doesn't seem to like them that much and because they really don't last long. They last maybe 10-20 minutes.

My dog kept whining for more
This treat was absolutely LOVED by my dog. She's a cavapoo and will pretty much eat anything healthy. Her breath lately has been kinda funky so I wanted to find something that would help her breath, but that she'd also actually eat. I've tried Zukes before and she hates them. She usually just sniffs it and lets it sit for days until she's really hungry then she eats it. But not this one. She devoured it then begged for more. It was really cute.I like that the ingredients are all natural and it's gluten free.As for the breath cleaning, that is to be determined since I just got these today. I wonder how effective they will be because they are a bit chewy. Her breath already smells better, so we'll see if it lasts :)
