Works great and batter life like all Egos is awesome. Make sure to get the shoulder straps too. With the battery attached, it is a bit heavy, but the strap works well and will save your back.

My previous one died, always concerned about getting a refurbished one. It arrived early and in great condition. Now I can't put it off till the following day, thanks

Box came in damaged. I opened the box and it looks like it was second used, I see now what it is renewed or refurbished. I’ll work with it see how it performs

Missing parts promised to be replaced immediately. Two weeks is too long to wait for missing parts. Amazon and Embie have lost credibility as well as Quality control issues. Will be calling EGO to report lack of quality control. I own 2 exceptional EGO products: lawnmower and leaf blower. I can't even use the weed eater for 2 weeks since receiving because one bolt was missing from box. Seems like Amazon doesn't care and Embie has real lack of Quality Control.

Refurbished seller gets 5 Stars. Product gets 2 Stars. Trimmer is very unbalanced and hard to control. Got the trimmer for the wife. turns out it weighs as much as my commercial-grade gas whacker and is harder to control.

Trimmer is fairly light and the balance is good. Only can use for 30/45 minutes on a fully charged battery so it would be a good idea to get a spare if you need to use it alot.

Gas trimmers are problem after problem so I bought this one. I will never go back to gas.

The string head is very difficult to replace. I had to take mine to a garden shop to put it back on.
