Q: how does the laces tighten up? its not clear from photo whether the laces are tied up like regular laces or there is some type of "boa" technology ?

It's more like a pull on sneaker...there is a lace, but I never adjust the tightness of the shoe. I am very pleased with the fit, comfort, and function. I get compliments on its look and style. I would definitely purchase another pair when the time comes.

Q: I'm looking at this shoe or the zoot TT for aquathlon. Does it drain water/sweat well?

Yes. It has for me. I have gotten them immersed in water. No issues.

Q: Are these good for runners who over pronate?

This is designed as a neutral shoe, so it has some cushioning. They do run small, so I had to go half a size up. I'm an under pronator (or supinator) and these shoes feel really good for me. I don't put a lot of miles on them, I just use them for racing mostly 5K's.

Q: Doe these fit small our true to size? Im a 7 and a half

Small. I am a true 7 and I ordered an 8. They fit well. These shoes also feel narrow...not for wide feet. Hope that helps.
