Reusable storage bags that makes a difference
I decided that I would take steps to reduce my use of disposable plastic for obvious reasons. I use a lot of ziplock bags to portion foods since I live alone. These bags have proven to be superior to ziplock bags in so many ways. As advertised, the bags are easy to wash and incredibly durable. It's also easier to remove excess air out of the bags before freezing. This helps with organizing the bags in a limited freezer space. I'm very happy with my purchase, and plan to purchase more. It's great that with this purchase, I reduced the use of 3-4 disposable ziplock bags per week.

Excellent Gallon Size Reusable Bags
These bags have been fantastic! We recently started purchasing reusable bags as a way to decrease waste from disposable bags. The gallon size bags work extremely well. The plastic material is soft and pliable, but has remained leak free over multiples uses so far. The material is also very durable. They are easy to clean, but can be challenging to dry. Our solution has been to use a baby bottle drying rack. The bags dry easily in a few hours once placed on the drying rack.

A nice plastic bag replacement
We love the sustainably idea behind the product. We have used it for mainly dry items, but so far, it is very durable and will be a great replacement for most times needing plastic bag

Great if you want to save the planet ( less garbage)
These bags are great. The seal is leak proof and closing it is easy and reliable. I’ve had another bag (Spey) and after awhile I could not seal them anymore. These bags clean easily. I hand wash & dry on a rack. These bags are heavy weight plastic and hold up well. Saving money. I wish I could buy individual sizes with a better quality.

Love these bags!
These bags are awesome. There are suddenly so many options to choose from, I had to do a lot of reading of reviews and blogs before I made a decision. I choose these ones, partly because this size is harder to find, but also because they were getting great reviews. I couldn't be happier with my choice. I have used them to marinate meat, hold liquids, store all sorts of food, including smellier items, and they wash up super well with no residue or smell or staining. I just ordered 3 more sets for myself and additional sets for my friends.

So easy to use
I decided to purchase these after I realized how many plastic bags I go through in a given week or month. I live in Japan, and reusable zip pouches like these are unusual, so I had to have them shipped internationally! But it was well worth it, as I use them so often now. I love that they're only slightly thicker than the flimsy plastic of sandwich bags - silicone bags are heavy and bulky and can be hard to manage, but these just feel like sturdier versions of what they're replacing. Drying them can be a little bit of a nuisance, but it's worth it. Glad I made this purchase!

Great reusable bag.
I ordered these gallon-sized reusable zip locking bags to go with my other reusable zip locking bags. I have had these for about three months now, and they have held up very well. They haven't leaked, they stay zipped up, and they haven't broken. I hand wash these bags to ensure they last as long as they can. I have stopped buying disposable ziplock bags.

A comprehensive review
As a consumer, I'm trying to do the right thing by doing the whole: reduce, reuse, recycle thing. Single-use plastic bags are very wasteful, so this is the first set of bags that I've tried. As of this date stamp, I've had them ~3 days and have put them through a variety of things.First impression: they feel thicker than normal plastic bags and the zipper appears to be thicker (maybe sturdier, time will tell). The cleaning instructions said to not clean with hot water, but if I'm putting raw meat into ANYTHING, it's getting hot water treatment afterwards.I froze 12 lbs of beef brisket in 3 bags. They all have done well so far. It seems the bag's capacity is ~6lbs of beef (which is a LOT) and I don't understand why people are complaining about the bag size. It's a gallon, not a barrel. I tried defrosting 5lbs of brisket today [clearly my cutting skills could use some polishing] and it went about as well as a normal plastic bag. Meaning: I noticed no significant difference in the defrost time, which is a huge plus in terms of not having to trade convenience for economical sustainability. When cleaning the bags, I've used water around 130F and put it in the bag for about 10 seconds. Don't fill the bag up, just scrub it with the hot-ish water and plenty of soap. I've done it twice so far and the bags seem undamaged. I assume the vendor means don't put BOILING WATER in the bag. Sanitize them, but don't do something overkill.Overall I'm happy with the bags at this point in time and would recommend you purchase a set if you're considering it. Heck, I bought 2 sets of 2 without trying a single pair first. I'm a little apprehensive about how long they'll last, based on some reviews I've read (and at $7.50 each, I can't afford to throw them away often), but I'll update this review as needed.
