Microsoft Zune Premium Headphones V2 (Bulk Packaging)

First experienced these when I purchased a Zune and these earphones were included (only the Zune 80gb and 120gb models had them). They are the BEST pair ever included with mp3 player by any manufacturer and the best pair I've ever had for mid-priced earphones. I've had Sony's, Panasonic's, Skullcandy, Klipsch, and many others and none of them matches these in terms of clarity, bass response, and powerful delivery. The fact that these are highly sought after and still commands such premium price is a testament to it's quality and desirability. I don't' know why some question it's durability because it's covered by a fabric chord design which I find a lot more durable than rubber covered ones and it tangles a lot less too. If a good pair is available for under $50, it's well worth it and I'm always on the lookout for good used pairs. Make sure you are getting the version 2 because there were other earphones offered with Zunes that are far inferior to these. I know sound preference is a personal taste so please don't go off the deep end if your experience with these earphones are not as pleasant as mine.

Not as described. Cable is plastic not the fabric as described. Returning them.

After a couple weeks of use, one side stopped working. Big disappointment. Not sure if it's because they were sitting on a shelf for years but my old Zune v2 lasted a long time. Also the earbuds that came were not version 2 but version 1 and not what was pictured.

All were too big for my ears :(

I've tried numerous in-ear headphones that were unsatisfactory (poor fit, tangles badly, poor sound, etc.) These work very well. They do a good job blocking outside noise, which is important to me as I use them while riding lawn tractors and a full size John Deere.. I wish they were less prone to tangle up. By the way, I use them on my Zune HD.

the headphones that came with my zune broke after many years of abuse. I had not come across any other headphones in this price range with that sound quality so I bought these to replace my broken ones. they are identical in every way to the ones that came with my zune, including sound quality. they have such a good base without sounding scratchy like some do, like blown out speakers. the balance on them with bass and treble is perfect.

These appear to be genuine originals and work great!These headphones came with my gen 2 zune. Even though my zune has been retired, the originals headphones still work great. I purchased and tried the Klipsch S4i and Bose ie2 when looking for a second/backup pair, but the zune's still sound better and are much more comfortable.The only downside is that you can hear when the fabric coating on the wires rubs together, so these are probably not recommended for people who will use them while running on other activities where the wires will move around a lot.
