Worth the extra
For outdoor use (residential), I cannot imagine a better option. When properly fitted, this valve does not leak at either end where the hose connects, or the shaft. Quality is very good, and well above the typical consumer level stuff often found in big box stores. Don't forget to the new washers.

good quality and works easily
This ia an excellent product. I use it at the hose end to regulate flow for whatever I am doing.
