Oster Professional 76030-010 Free Rider Professional Adjustable Pivot Clipper

Have had and Oster for years. New one works great! Using for "military style" hair cuts only. Design quarks: 1. thin metal black plate with name on top gets hair suck underneath and is only lightly glued on...remove for less clogging of head, 2. cord is stiff. Used for months now and does not seem to straighten out much from original oval curled packaging. It gets caught on things around the sink. Unwieldy at times. Argh! 3. Screw for black handle blade depth becomes loose over time and you can accidentally cut unevenly...keep screw snug or suffer uneven hair cuts.

I had an identical 1 that last years and it was perfect so I bought this to replace it, it is not as quiet as my previous 1, in fact it is very loud and it does not cut as close as my old 1. It is ok.

Oster Free Rider Hair Clipper 76030-010 We had an Oster 284 series A for 20 years so when the cord broke I bought this clipper. The clipper cut very well but the combs didn't fit tight then when using the plastic blade adjusting lever it broke and just swung loose. The little plastic tab that pushes the blade in and out just snapped off. I'm going to return and will not get this set of clippers again.

These clippers cut well. I can really make use of the entire package and attachments. My son said they're a little too sharp on his head. But they are quiet and move through the hair nicely without having to go over it again and again.

these clippers work well in thin or thick hair, also wet and dry hair, the only thing i do not like is the blade adjuster is really tight.

On the first time using it, the piece broke. It seems like it has a decent blade but I’m just unsure why it’s so fragile. My wife used it and was like, “I think the piece fell off”.

They just came in the mail. I cut my son hair & I loved the cut it look gave. SHARP!!!!!!!!!They are just like the fast feed. Great Buy!!!
