This is a great tool! Very portable. Made of metal so hold up well.

I love this crusher although it is a bit heavier than I expected. It takes some strength to crush especially if you have thicker pills. Luckily I don’t. I have arthritis in my hands so it takes me some time to fully crush my pills to my satisfaction. I’m picky about that as it I crush and can feel them in my pudding then I will get sick. I can’t and never have been able to swallow pills so I’ve tried many different types of crushers and this by far exceeded my expectations. It’s a great value and you do need to buy the baggies that they suggest but it makes it easy to put the crushed pills in whatever you are doing. The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the weight.Update, got this in October 2023 and now it’s march of 2024 and it broke. 1/2 of one handle broke while crushing pills. It was easy to crush multiple pills at one time of various sizes. I would definitely purchase again but might have to go with either a lighter model or a table top one due to my worsening medical conditions including severe rheumatoid arthritis .

Handheld pill crusher works good for soft pills with no coating. I bought it to crush hard pills that have an enteric coating it did not crush those all the way and hurt my hand. This product is really good just not for pills with coating.

very good pill crusher for the price. I break-up around 20 a day for my husband and I have arthritis in my hands, so it is sometimes difficult for me to hold onto some objects. And with little strength in my hands I can only squeeze so much and have to do one or two pills at a time. The plastic bags are first off impractical for me as you can only do so many pills in a bagAND then the pill pieces tear the bags and you can lose lots of product trying to get the bags open and emptied. The crushing surfaces do get tacky with pill residue but a little warm water and air dry gets everything ready for the next go-round. I much appreciate this product.

I need to crush my dog's pills and put them in her food. She takes one pill twice daily that is very hard. I've tried grinders that twist pills into powder, and a couple of others that work like coffee grinders (they probably ARE repurposed coffee grinders). Nothing has worked, so I thought I'd try this--it seems pretty straightforward, it's clearly strong. It did absolutely nothing. I even tried cutting the pill into smaller pieces. Nothing. I gripped and squeezed as hard as possible. Nothing. It might work well on softer pills, but it doesn't work on what I need it to do.

A like this little metal pill crusher..big pills more of a challenge..but so far works great!

This is the best pill crusher I have found. I have arthritis in my hands, and it is difficult for me to use the type that requires turning or twisting. I need to crush pills to mix in my cat's food, and the pills are coated with a hard material. The coating makes them slippery, and they slide around in plastic pill crushers. This crusher works very well. It crushes the pill into tiny particles. I follow-up with a mortar and pestle to get a finely-ground finish.I have only been using this for a few days, so I can't comment on how sturdy it may be except to say that it *seems* very strong. It is heavy and made of metal, not the type of plastic that often breaks easily.

My husband has a feeding tube and has to have his pills pulverized. The hand held crusher is not very good for this purpose. It crushes but not enough for his needs.
