We bought this to use as a front parking sensor system for our 2016 Ram 3500 truck. Installation took quite bit of time, but the system works great and the cost can't be beat. I gave the system 4 stars because I felt the power cable was too short and would limit the positioning of the system without splicing a longer wire to the cable. Two thumbs up for the packaging!I wouldn't try to use the enclosed hole saw for a chrome bumper. If you need to mount to a chrome bumper, spend the money for a metal hole saw.Unless we missed something, the system reads out in meters and goes to zero at about 6 inches.The connection box is not waterproof and for use as a front parking system must be installed in a waterproof box, or waterproofed with RTV. If Esky provided a system with either longer cables for the sensors to allow installation in side the vehicle cabin or a waterproof connection box, this would be perfect for that application. We installed a manual switch to turn the system off when not needed, this would be accomplished with the backup lights as a switch when used as a backup system.

This does what it is supposed to. Do not expect this to perform like a factory installed part, but it does the job. The drill bit that comes with the package is a total piece of crap so plan on using a real drill bit. Installation is pretty easy. I put mine in a 2004 Ford Ranger. I wish the cord for the display/beeper was a few feet longer. I ended up installing the display under the dash board, I cannot see the lighted display but I can hear the warning beep. When you are backing up you should be looking behind you anyway so I don't believe the lighted display is useful anyway.Update: 12/1/2016: After about two months this system started to just give a constant beep once you put it in reverse. There are no obstructions and everything was installed correctly. Looks like I will just have to disconnect it. You get what you pay for.

This is the best I have installed. The display module has a very long cable, indicates distance in meters and with LED light bars, and shows left and right clearances SEPARATELY! This is great, and was not clear from the product description. Works out beyond 2 meters. The drill bit included is a little small, so you may have to ream out the hole with a file. I have installed this unit as a FRONT sensor, and I am buying another unit for the side blind spots, installing 2 sensors on each side about 2 feet apart pointing straight out from the side of the car either side of the back wheels with the control unit behind the back seat. Be sure and mount the sensor faces so they are vertical to ground level. The buzzer can be easily switched on and off at the display unit.

Just installed this on my 2008 Honda Fit. The middle sensors B and C works just fine. But for some reason sensors A and D does not work properly after I mounted it on the bumper. I'm really disappointed.UPDATE***Customer service was great! shortly after my review on amazon, they contacted via email to know if they could do anything to correct the error by sending a new set or getting a complete refund. I decided to go with a new set.I got the sensors in the mail pretty quick after the email. I just installed it and everything seems to work fine. All sensors seems to be working properly this time. It works just like a sensor is suppose to do. You can't expect it to work like those top notch sensors they sell at the dealers. It's a little delayed compared to the sensors on my sisters Acura. But it will get the job done for an awesome price!Overall, it is a very good product. customer service was excellent! Sensors are pretty good for a great price. I definitely recommend this product if you want cheap and effective sensors. It's really easy to install! Great product

Short cable, the cable provided was not long enough for my 2005 Honda Pilot. There's few complaint about short cable and no action from the manufacturer. Nothing mention where to attached the short red cable, after few trial and error I had it working. About quarter way of rerouting the cable, I found out the cable was not long enough. I'm contemplating if I should return it or buy a longer cable.

Alright people... if your looking for something very easy to install that’s a RELIABLE and Accurate rear parking sensor/ backup sensor, this is the one to get. I’ve had this for about 6 months now and it works flawlessly since the install. It will detect that you have 0 meters or whatever the measurement is that it uses before you actually have 0 so there is no chance of you damaging your vehicle, BUT that’s a good thing not a bad thing. Only problem it has is when there is snow piled on the sensors, you have to just keep the sensors clean

fine for the price, but it has a 2 or 3 seconds delay after you shift reverse, before beeping and showing distance on the display.that means you have to slow down your average reverse speed in order to trust that the device will work.it also shown erratic readings on normal use.good packaging and quality so far (only used it a couple of weeks) although i won't buy it again.

It looks very clean on my dash. Wiring this thing was very easy, a tip though is to watch which sensor you put on which spot. The far left should be A (or 1), and the far right should be D (or 4). This matters when you plug the sensors into the unit. The sensors install easily if you take a flat screw driver, and push the rubber in, then push the sensor in.The unit works, sometimes, but I do not have a high level of confidence in it. I tested it and it adds about 4-6" of space, so it it says you have a meter left, you really have 4-6" more.

If you have a truck that is harder to backup due to its size (like mine) then your probably thinking this is the product for you. I'm here to tell you its not. The wires from the sensor to the main computer are about 6 feet long, but the computer "must be stored in dry place". So immediately your thinking the cab. After figuring out how to go from outside to inside, you'll notice that the cord is so short you simply will not reach the cab by any means necessary, so therefore your left putting it outside. Then to further your installation, the drill bit will most likely snap the pilot hole piece, leaving you with a completely useless hole puncher. If you have a car (which if your such a bad driver that your car needs radar then maybe stick to the passenger seat) then this should work for you, but if not, buy else where

The product worked great. The instructions were minimal, but the installation was easy. The system is basic. The "off" switch for the sound is great if you have a trailer. The unit rarely gives me false readings. The included drill bit was sharp and worked well. I would definitely buy it again if I had need in the future for another car.

Installed great. Needed extra length of cable for extended truck box. You might need an additional step bit (I did) if you are drilling though a steel bumper. Not too obnoxiously loud and looks very professional if you measure your holes precisely.

Item arrived sooner than expected. Everything works as expected. Good deal for money.

Works good but takes an expert to install. 5 hours of install. Whole car had to be pulled apart.
