Pyrex Portable Hot & Cold Pack - Small

It's super easy to find ways to help keep cold things cold, but not so easy to find things that help keep the hot food warm. This product is very helpful. You heat it in the microwave, and then put it under your casserole or other food items when you need to transport them. I used the same one for many years for my Pyrex casserole dishes, and finally it leaked. I bought this one as a replacement for that purpose.

Great quality. Same as the one that came with my store bought pyrex dish. My husband uses it every day for his lunch cooler and it survived his harsh wear and tear for 4 years. When I got online to search for them, I was surprised to find they cost so much at $12 each since I bought a dish set that included a casserole carrier, 9x13 glass baking dish with snap lid, AND the same brand hot cold pack for $30 at Target. However, it was the cheapest I could find online, and the quality seems to be as good as the last one from this brand. I've used the off-brand ones before, and they don't last longer than 6 months with daily use. I guess that makes the price worth it. I would have given 5 stars if not for the price.

Bought as a replacement for my Pyrex insulated carrier that I used for over 10 years and the hot pack finally melted when I last used it. The small pack was a perfect size and the price from Amazon was the lowest found and included next day delivery. I’m hoping to get another 10 years out of this one.

We use this in conjunction with an insulated bottle bag. First, we used it to keep the water for his bottles warm. We would pop it into the microwave for about a minute, and then put it into the bags it would keep the water warm and the perfect temperature for at least (we never needed it longer) 4 hours.We've been using it for cool now with the same bottle bag to keep applesauce and yogurt along with other cool foods cold while we are running around. We just throw it into the freezer the night before. This combo keeps things cool for a good 6-8 hours.

This works well but I think one size up for general use would be even better (but I bet this would be perfect for one person in a hot lunch). This is handy to put under a casserole or veggies to help preserve the temperature a little longer while on the table; I also use it when I need to take a meal to go. Sidenote: do NOT the giant size - that one didn't work AT ALL.

I would rather had the large one but none were available. I can stil use the two small ones for the large casserole. I can use the two small ones for two small bowls. Glad to have anything now since I ruined the ones that came with the casserole dishes received as a gift!!

I bought this for my daughter to use in her insulated lunch box...she reported that it didn't retain heat very well and her lunch was room temperature. I didn't need to spend money for room temperature, lol

Was very glad to find that these were still available as the originals we got years ago had finally bitten the dust. These restored our large and small set of carriers to as good as new!
