Motorola W755/W385 BT51 Battery - Std

I can't say much yet about the battery. (And even if I could, I wouldn't know how Amazon expects me to distinguish between "Battery life" and "Longevity".) I'm writing, instead, about the packaging. The shipping carton says on it, in large letters, "THIS BOX IS NOW MADE WITH LESS MATERIAL". It's nice to know that Amazon cares about preserving our trees. But if that's the case, why is the carton more than 250 times the size of the battery? I'm not joking. See the photograph. The battery is 2.1 x 1.4 x 0.4 inches, which works out to 1.2 cubic inches. The carton is 9.0 x 6.3 x 5.3, or 300.5 cubic inches -- 250.4 times the size of the battery.

I had the battery for over a month and it seems to be working find. i bought one battery from two different companies so i don't know which battery is which. Both held a charge. the One i have in the phone and is working fine. The other i have not fully tested out.My old battery would go dead after one phone call or a few hours on standby. The knew battery has lasted 24 hours. Neither battery did a do a full test to see how long they will last before dyeing. I am pretty happy with it since i do not make many calls.

I purchased two BT51 batteries for my CLP 1010 Motorola radios. I installed it in the radios and they did not function. I put the batteries in my Motorola charger in the charger indicated there was false and batteryn I put the batteries in my Motorola charger in the charger indicated there was fault in the batteries and would not charge them. I placed the batteries in my second Motorola charger with the same result. I took the batteries to my local battery store and had them put it in their charger. The charger indicated the batteries were bad. Needless to say the batteries ARE on their way back to the Seller. Give the seller one star for getting the product here in two days.

A great replacement battery at a good price! I bought one of these to replace a failing battery in an older flip phone. It came partially charged, took a full charge right away and stays charged so much longer. My hubby's phone is like new again. So glad to have found a replacement battery because not everyone wants to use a smart phone. Thanks!

Cannot comment on long term durability of this cell phone battery because we have had it only 3 days.But so far the battery is adequately doing it's job.This Motorola battery is an original for our 4 year old cell phones. We searched for an original because of several reports from friends that "after market" batteries do not last long. Will give a 5 star rating if battery lasts over six months.!/13 UPDATE Battery has been as durable as the original Motorola 3+ years ago.Feb.27, 2013: UPDATE Batteries remain as durable as the original Motorola, with daily usage. I've never had this kind of durability of any aftermarket cell phone battery.

I purchased this battery because the one just like it in my Motorola W755 cell phone is almost 2 yrs old and its talk/standby time is rapidly declining. The new battery looks exactly like the old one; however, the talk/standby time for the new one is much worse than I experienced from the old one when I first bought the phone. After an overnight charge and no calls made or received, the new battery is down to one bar by the end of the 2nd day after the full charge. I'm not going to make an issue of it because next month, I'll be getting a new phone. I was just surprised at how inferior the apparently identical replacement battery was to the original.

I have no use for a smartphone, so I continue to use my W755 flip phone - going on four years now. It's a solid phone, and gets good reception, so I have no need to change it. However, after so many charges, my old battery was not holding its charge as long as it once did. With this new battery, I can get an additional day out of each charge, and still have the original charged up as an emergency backup. It appeared to be brand new, had a much later manufacture date than my other battery, and arrived quickly. Oh, and the price was a third of what Verizon wanted for the exact same battery

I have an old Motorola KRZR flip phone that I don't want to part with. Bought several of these batteries as replacements. The last one I bought took a charge and held it well for almost a year. This new battery charged up pretty quick and is lasting as long on stand by as I expected it to. This is the same as the original battery that came with the phone. Price here is very good and I'm a happy customer.

Hi the battery I received would not operate the phone. I took it to source and they checked and it was not charging. I ended up getting a new phone as I was having van problems and did not want to be without phone. I ended up sick and would have sent back by now by am still not well. Will see about asking customer if I can send back.
