In searching for a good cord AV out for my old Canon GL2, I read the reviews of the off brand cords. In those reviews, many of the off brand cords did not work properly, and have bad results. So I decided to go right off first with this Canon original made cord, and It has worked great. I wanted it so I could run the AV out to a digital recorder that I will also review. Now I can get a digital MP4 file, although not HD, from my otherwise tape using camcorder. This cord gave me great video/audio with no problems. It cost maybe twice what the after market cords cost, but still was a low cost option, and was the original.

Have a Canon ZR85. Read reviews for this product and cheaper versions. Based on those reviews decided it was worth buying the Canon original part and the extra $$$. I was not disappointed. It worked perfectly with my camera.

Easy to connect Cannon mini cam to converter

This cable is the real deal for the Canon camcorder. Nothing else worked, but this cable did, allowing me to playback old tapes and see it on the television. Very happy with the purchase.

Look no further if you're searching for a genuine STV-250N cable. It costs much more but let me tell you it works! I've tried twice unsuccessfully to purchase those cheaper versions. Although they claim to be STV-250 and they're NOT. Don't waste your time and get this one instead.

Tried a variety of third party cables and none of them worked. Went with this one and at last got a clean A/V signal out of my Canon C100. Now I can output to two monitors simultaneously!Skip the rest and buy this cable!
