Textbooks are great for reading, but flashcards are the more portable version of information.I like flash cards because I can lay them out on a table while I am at home or at a coffee shop.Each flash card is easy to read, in color and has pictures that are helpful and related to the material.I have a notebook, where I write down questions that relate to each flash card.For example. Lets say a flash card describes the steps on how to run a particular test ( which chemicals, to use on an agar plate).In the notebook, I write: flash card #1 and then ask a question related to the card.

There are plenty of flash cards on the market designed to help medical students and other students grasp the complexity and nuance required to successfully master microbiology and infectious diseases. I have bought a number of sets, and this is a set that is worth every penny. Not one card is left without a diagram explaining the particular concept - something those who are visually-inclined (who isn't?) will appreciate immensely. The format of question on front side, answer on back side facilitates active learning and allows the flashcard users to grasp a thorough understanding of the various topics in microbiology. These flash cards may be the best on the market (yes, better than Lange's set and the Lippincott Microcards set) for medical students and other students attempting to work their way through the difficult topic that is microbiology. Very well done set of flash cards.

I absolutely love these cards. I really like how they come with a key ring type item to hold all the cards together, comes in handy when you have 2 very rambunctious kids that like to take everything so it prevents them from being scattered around. I also love how each card comes with pictures, I'm very big on visual learning. The questions are good too since they make you think and it's easier if you have someone studying with you when it comes to you answering them. I would recommend these, especially with how difficult of a course Microbiology is. I'm glad I bought these on Prime day when they were cheaper, I will definitely look into the other cards offered for other topics.

Had a not so satisfactory communication with seller at first. Will give 3 stars for seller's attempt to make up for it.

After comparing many microbiology flash card available in the market I found this one the best. Very good for revision before your board exams. You can even write the extra points in the card itself and hence condense the syllabus.

Good info. Type gets a bit small on some diagrams with room on boarders to enlarge, but received fast and in good condition.

The cards are easy to understand and very helpful.

I purchased for Micro. Lettering is too small can't read.
