FoxFarm Ocean Forest Potting Soil for Container Gardens - Light, Aerated Texture with Fish Meal, Crab Meal, Earthworm Castings - Houseplant Potting Mix for Seedlings & Plant Starts - 2 x 12 Quart

I started using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil a few years ago and have noticed the difference that a quality soil makes. This soil feels great, smells wonderful, and does wonders for my plant collection. I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest as a base for all my houseplants and add amendments to the soil depending on the species I am planting. The soil is a bit more expensive, but at the end of the day, the proof is in the amazing houseplants that I have created. My plants are healthy, happy, and thriving thanks to Fox Farm. Very highly recommended. Tom Feddor - Printers Row, Chicago

My plants absolutely love this soil. It is definitely overpriced though. It’s worth it and so much better than Miracle Grow. I didn’t experience any gnats in the package. It always scares me when I buy soil for that reason. My plants are happy

Love this twin pack of my favorite soil. I've been using study now 44 years. And my plants are all happy, healthy and thriving. I highly highly recommend using this soil.

My favorite soil for indoor plants. I was looking for the best soil as I unfortunately was a former miracle grow user. This soil is amazing for any plants. I have used it on over 50 varieties of indoor flora with no issues. I cant wait to try their other products!

Overall, this is a good quality potting soil - it holds water well while still remaining chunky. My plants are happy. I will note that I did have issues with gnat infestations with this soil, so something to consider if you plan on using it for indoor plants. That was unfortunate because it was advertised for indoor plant use. I am now only using this potting soil with outdoor plants.

Best potting mix around. Just add orchid bark or extra perlite if you want a more breathable soil

Absolutely a must for growing plants. Sowing seeds a breeze and great results every time . So worth it.

This is my favorite all‑purpose potting soil for both indoor and outdoor plants. I’ve purchased this brand and type multiple times, and it never disappoints. The soil is light, well‑aerated, and very nutrient‑rich, making it perfect for container gardening. My plants consistently thrive in it. A must‑have for any plant lover. This soil combines aged forest products, sphagnum peat moss, earthworm castings, bat guano, fish emulsion, and crab meal to deliver a nutrient‑dense growing medium. The blend features a light, airy texture with sandy loam and perlite, along with added ingredients like shrimp meal and kelp to support strong, vigorous plant growth.
