A lightweight kettle which is easy to handle. A blue light comes on when you click the lever on which i like and find useful to see at a glance that it is switched on. Quiet compared to others i have used. Nice not to feel a jet engine is taking off when i switch the kettle on! Boils quickly. Good value for money.

I had the same £13 kettle from Tesco for 6 or 7 years until it blew a fuse last week and died. I thank it for it's dedicated service. This kettle was purchased on a whim as very few on Amazon were available cheaply with next day delivery, with a flip-top lid. I took a punt on this. It's cheap and cheerful, lightweight and boils quickly without too much superfluous and cacophonic sound like some noisy kettles. However, you get what you pay for and although the kettle has a flip top, is lightweight and is smart enough looking, it's certainly not "stylish". It would be perfect for non-design-led homes, offices, workplace kitchens, reception pantries, etc. but if you're looking for somehting a bit more stylish I'd pay at least twice if not more. But, great little kettle. I deducted one star for it's very basic design and the fact Amazon delivered it in a knackered box.

U love my new kettle as I have arthritis in both hands and this kettle ls really light weight and that's even with water in it and it has a good flip lid so you don't need to pull it off I've added a small video to show the flip lid hope that this review was helpful

Liked the look of the kettle but not sure what quality it would be. Have to say I have been very pleasantly surprised, it is very light weight and looks really good. Boils very quickly and does not drip when you pour from it. Excellent value for money.

Awesome kettle. Recently had a new baby, and our old kettle was too slow and noisy. This kettle boils quickly and quietly. It is also well balanced (which you appreciate more when you are trying to poor hot water in to bottles half asleep). Looks good too. Great kettle!

First thing that's noticeable about this kettle is the weight..or the lack of it. Lightest kettle i've had i believe an I mean that in a good way. As with most plastic kettles it took a couple of boilings of water and bicarbonate of soda to purge the 'plasticky' taste but it was good to go after that. The Morphy Richard will boil a two cup fill from cold to boiling in under a minute and a half and i thought that quite impressive although it has to be said who stands and watches a kettle boiling. It has to be said that after only a month of use, the inside of the kettle as shown in the attached pics has become very stained/burnt something i hadn't noticed to that degree in my last kettle. On saying that it hasn't in anyway tainted the taste of my tea/coffee and maybe all plastic kettles suffer this and i just haven't noticed. Would I buy this model again ? Well Yes... it's light, it boils quickly and as I don't tend to stare at the inside of my kettle while it's boiling I'll just remove 1 star for the stains.

Decent kettle for the price. Easy to operate. Lightweight. Got it for my elderly Mum when her old one packed up. Looks good on worktop.
