Inexpensive Cable for Professional Radios
I bought this cable to program a Kenwood TK-3180-K portable two-way radio. This cable works flawlessly with the Kenwood programming software, and about 1/5the cost of the Kenwood-branded cable.Highly recommended.

Worked perfectly, nice and simple!
Worked perfectly to program a large cache of TK-3180 portables. Grabbed the drivers from the site as advised and it was literally plug and play from there.

Good product at a good price
This is my second Kenwood programming from Valley Enterprises, the first one purchased to program an NX-700 mobile radio. Works when it wants to
Receive a COM port error several times before it is recognized by KPG-D1N. Takes anywhere from 3-5 tries before it will read/write to the NX-5200 K3. It will work, but you have to be patient and persistent. I would recommend purchasing OEM.
