The greatest travel guide. Full of picture with notes. Well aranged maps. Easy to follow. Easy to use. Full of information.You will no need another guide after using Eyewitness travel guide. Wery good for planning trip.

Full of very useful information. Lots of maps. Very detailed. Great reccomendations. It might be a little heavy to carry around everyday while travelling but worth it.

Very informative, conveniently set up by neighborhoods, excellent historical background information throughout. Includes large removable map as well as walking tours.

I think that DK did an excellent job with describing places to eat, sleep, visit and etc.. Also the 540 photographs, 25 illustrations and pull out map are very helpful. My only complaint is with the size of the FONT. Both my wife and I found it to be on the small size. Thus depending on the light in the room one may need a magnifying glass to read the small print. Still there is a lot of information in the 264 pages.

Had purchased the Top 10 St. Petersburg prior to our trip. Enjoyed a very intense and hectic three day tour by SPB Tours - they are a really outstanding tour company - and decided that we needed something to give us additional detail to add to our photos and notes. That's why we got this book after we returned home!

This guide is excellent, detailed with plenty of helpful pictures. Almost no need for a museum and or site guide. It is highly recommended

I usually buy these excellent guides several months in advance of our travels!This was bought after our very short and unplanned visit there.It's been very helpful in keeping track of where we were and what we saw and what we missed - also has given us lots of ideas if the opportunity should arise again!

Works well both as a practical guide to visiting St Petersburg and as an enjoyable and informative eye-opener. Plenty of nice colour photos and illustrations add to the reading and browsing pleasure. Includes readable background articles and useful reference material and advice. (I bought the 1-Jul-2015 print edition.)
