Don't Forget To Visit Our New NP Certification Website: Www.Nursingcertificationsuccess.Com Review: Valuable info - I've had a ten year old copy and recently a new version. There was not enough new info (that you couldn't find on free NP websites and news letters) to justify the new version expense. The author puts out current newsletters through the year that are inexpensive, more current and thus helpful. She takes questions in those and through her website.. She is a valuable resource to the NP profession and following her legal advice will keep you out of trouble. Review: Nurse practitioners business and legal guide. - Excellent book. Good condition and received quickly. Exactly as the school requires! Thanks I get a better price than the school offers and I don't have to drive back up to the bookstore.

Good, but missing some essentials
Good, but missing some essentials ... might get diluted with her audience being those who are independent as well as those who work in groups/larger systems. Addressing the comprehensive needs of the truly independent provider, even the solo provider, is lacking. Also, a new version just came out, so maybe some of what this one missed is included. Also, having a single-payer health care system and standardized scopes of practice aligned with the Institute of Medicine's recommendations in their Future of Nursing Report would go a long way toward cutting out about 70% of the administrative/legal/reimbursement red tape and waste that currently exists in the "health*care(?)" system that is anything but provision of services that contribute to individuals health!!! Instead, we keep this dysfunctional system to protect the turf of certain providers and maintain the exorbitant profits of the "health*iinsurance(?)" plans. I think both of these groups are ensuring/insuring is their own continued profits and power!

Indispensible!
Indispensable guide; no NP should practice without it. All student NP's need this text as an essential to their practice formation framework; therefore, this text should be in the textbook list of resources used any NP program of study.

Every nurse practitioner should own this.
This book explains how to negotiate salary and wages, something nurse practitioners may not be familiar with. Nurse practitioners need to value their worth and years of experience as a nurse compared to other mid-level practitioners, such as PAs.

Poor quality
The book cost me nearly $100 and when I received it the cover was upside down and the front cover was on the back. I have to turn the book upside and open the back cover to read it. NICE!!
