I was a little upset when I received this mold. It’s the cheap, flimsy silicone which I hate. I needed it to make towers for a child’s castle cake. I decided to try it and what do you know. It did the job! I was skeptical that it would make a good enough impression in the fondant but it worked. If you’re on the fence about getting this mold, I would say go ahead and get it. It actually works.

This was my first time using this type of mold. I used it for a graffiti theme party. It's the perfect size for cookies and small desserts.

I was happy with the details and ease of removal. The material is good quality as well. My craft project was a success with resin and clay. The only drawback is that it is very thin at the borders. I wish the edges were a little thicker so my resin could’ve been thick. It still resulted fine. I just added more clay to the back to increase sturdiness after it was fully cured. I didn’t use it for baking, so maybe the thinness is needed for icing, but I don’t know about that.

Fondant probably works better. My candy coating breaks apart though

My Mario cake was truly a hit! I drummed up so much business with this cake... Would definitely buy it again.
