G8LED 600 Watt MEGA LED Veg/Flower Grow Light

I actually am probably in to few thousand hours, it hasn't even let up at all. If you want a light with all spectrrum's you need. Unlike with a ballast you have a MH or HPS and to be effective they have to use both together. Not this. I am actually doing a side by side . It get the corners better then MH light. I am going to add 2ft t5 with red spectrulux lights and use MH through next time. Why waste all that time if you can afford an Led. It's like an investment. You will spend 10 blown lights before this is finished and 10 decent bulbs is between 200-400, so buy this. Very low temp. I am trying to go all green as I call it because it's an expensive investment well worth the price.

This 600w LED piqued my interest after reading several reviews, forums, and company marketing (ploys). G8LED incorporated UV and IR into this light, internal fans, and guaranteed to last. They honed in the diodes to nanometers within the blue and red spectrums ideal for veg and requiring some red spectrum supplement in flower. Reviews I read stated these guys were on point re: customer service and my initial order issues proved this to be accurate.Amazon messed up the processing of my first two orders and so I waited FOREVER (two weeks) before making a successful transaction. Initially I thought G8LED was sitting on their hands or something but they were sympathetic to my cause and said as soon as the Amazon side went through they would expedite the shipping. They did and it was totally above and beyond what they were expected to do. Got the light in great shape.Flipped it on and had to wear shades as a precaution. Not silent, not even close. Wouldn't plan on sleeping the same room but if you are using a carbon filter this is certainly more quiet than inline fans, by a lot! Heat was surprisingly manageable in a 4x4' tent. Haven't had to pipe in cool air yet, granted it's winter and simply cracking a window an inch or two will keep the room cool enough to maintain a 75-80* range with the light on. Added an inline fan just to extract the hot air from the top of my tent and was able to keep the temp in a range I found suitable with the light considerably closer to the plants than when using HID; though primary intent was to use this fan with a carbon filter. Much cooler than HPS 600, even 400w.In sum, stoked with this purchase. Have read a lot of the R/MMJ industry has begun using these lights and as anyone who is into horticulture knows, that industry is the vanguard of our hobby and the innovations originating there will make indoor gardening as close to sustainable as you can imagine. G8LED is one of the best companies making these lights, incorporating UV and IR unlike many of their lesser competitors. Other manufacturers that are using UV and IR charge sometimes 2-3x what G8 is. Definitely worth a buy, though would only do so with the intention/capacity to add a (at a minimum) 90watt red light for flowering. Super happy but at the same time, no one deserves a 5.EDIT: G8LED deserves a 5. I added a Kessil 350 Magenta for flowering but man has it been kicking!

Its a great product, not very good warranty for the price you pay. Had for 8 months now and still going strong. Hoping all my diodes stay working the whole 50k hours they promise. Bought 2 90 watt ufos to go on both sides. Been extremely dense buds and tricomes are just everywhere. You get what you paid for but just wish came with longer warranty cause its a big investment and if it fails your back to square 1.

Disappointing. Not the grow power I expected since the product was promoted by High Times.

I love it.Edit - May 27th, 2018After owning 2 of these 600's now for close to 3 years, I can say the lights have outperformed my expectations by far. I no longer have any issues with heat or humidity. I use one 600 and a 250W in veg, then both 600W G8's in a 4 x 4 x 7 tent. Believe me it's not overkill. Yield has been big. However, if I had it to do over, I would of just night the 900W. I have been running one of the 90W Red boosters, considering adding one more. I highly recommend these over traditional HID lighting such as High Pressure Sodium. Not only is it much quieter and cooler, but it saves a lot of money on electric, esp. if you run them on 220v. Yes, I would recommend this product.

I used to grow with high pressure bulbs and finally made the switch to LEDs. After meticulous research I purchased one of the smaller g8led lights and had terrific results which exceeded my expectations. I grew some tomatoes and my plants had lots of fruits and fairly good size as well. I then got this g8-600 and am using it instead of two 400watt hps bulbs for my other indoor project. Plants size is comparable to my double 400watt setup but I have completely eliminated the heat problem I had. I am able to keep a constant 74degree temp without anything more than a blow fan. No more air conditioning needed! Awesome, can't wait to see the utility bill savings. As soon as I finish this grow I will definitely be buying more. Highly recommend this brand to any indoor grower.

I have been growing indoors since the 70's and have been watching the led industry for a few years. After months of research I decided to go with the g8-600 for a trial run in my 4x4 tent. This light went above and beyond all expectations I had. I grew with the 600, then used the bloom lights in my flowering room to finish. I yielded as much as my 1000w mh/hps setup on my first run. I am on the second grow and expect to yield even more this time around. Because the LEDs give off less heat, you need to water less and hence use less nutrients. This is an adjustment I have made for this second grow and I expect to increase yield. Don't waste time with other products, G8LED is the way to go, hands down.

I’ve been using this G8led for a few months now, all I can say is that it is an excellent product, very happy so far with the perfomances.
