Nice boy and clever macaw, but not enough content to justify length
There are worse ways to spend an evening than watching a young boy and his talking macaw. But this movie is too long, too repetitive, and has a really lousy ending. 3 stars are generous.

It's a timeless piece!
It was a lot of fun watching this movie for the first time... I missed it when it was release more than 20 yrs ago. It doesn't matter, funny just the same.

The Real Macaw (VHS)
The movie was interesting, but the tape of this product was not good::there are a lot of shaky places where the tape shakes.

Good movie, good quality VHS
Blast to the past, I absolutely loved this movie growing up and it's nice to have a piece of nostalgia sitting on my shelf. The VHS quality was very good (some now-a-days are starting to degrade depending on who you buy from) so I was very pleased with this purchase.

One of our top favorite movies!
This is a great adventure movie that the whole family will love! Keeps you on the edge of the seat. makes you laugh and makes you cry too! Wow! This is a second movie of this! We loaned it out and can't live without it! Fantastic story and cinema!

Great family movie.
A very entertaining movie about a very old parrot named Mac and morrally very educational. A young boy tries to help his family and ends up on a wonderful adventure with a talking parrot. Treasure hunting and pirates and beautiful scenery are all to be expected in this great family movie. My 6 and 8 yr old daughters loved this movie. And I loved it for its good acting and unique story and the great values it was teaching as my children sat spell bound.

I BOUGHT THIS MOVIE FROM ZIGGIES WHARE HOUSE AND IT DIDNT PLAY AT ALL IT WAS UNWATCHABLE DONT BY THIS VHS OR YOULL GET RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
