La Roche-Posay Effaclar BB Blur with SPF 20, Fair/Light, 1.01 Fl. Oz.

I really like it. It's very easy to apply, just need a little and spread out. The color is really nice, I'm Asian with fair skin and this is just the right color for me. My skin is oily, the only thing works for me is Estee Lauder Double Wear in foundation but even the lightest is just a little too dark for me. And this BB Blur is lighter. It doesn't have that much of a matte finish though, which I actually like it because I like my face with radiant. The only thing I don't like is that there's little pieces of skin/product that rub off and leaves pieces on my skin, so I had to use a brush to brush the pieces off of my face. I'm not sure why it's doing that.After few more days of use, I decided to change the rating to 5, because the pieces of skin or whatver that is problem is not anymore after I exfoliated my skin. It will not control the oil as it says though.

I am such a skeptic about this sort of stuff. I’ve used many different bb creams, concealers, and foundations that have fallen short of the mark and I was very very wary of purchasing this. Sometimes people overhype things and I end up spending money on things that don’t even work!! Long story short, I am 100% sold on it.As someone who has struggled with painful hormonal acne for several years now I am always scared of putting anything on my face, but this has not caused any break outs or dried me out any more than I already am from my acne topical cream. It blurs out all imperfections - and acne scars - and looks just like your skin. I can’t believe how well it works. I’ll never not purchase this as it’s now become essential for whenever I am wearing make up!! So yes, believe all the reviews because it’s the truth!!

So I have been struggling with acne for over a year now. Most recently I had a bad break out of huge cysts all over, and then when those died down the regular pimples showed up and a ton of black heads. I've been left with a lot of scarring and I never wore make up, so all my attempts to conceal my acne have failed miserably. What I love about this product is that while it is Matte and keeps my oily skin at bay, it's not too thick so it doesn't highlight the texture of my skin, as it is still healing. It still gives medium coverage and helps blur out my large pores. It also doesn't add to my acne problem. My only complaint about this is that it doesn't last throughout the day.

This is one of the best BB's I have ever used. I have a strange combination of oily skin that is dry in other areas and also very sensitive. I need something that moisturizes but keeps oil at bay at the same time. SPF is essential and non irritating to my skin and especially my eyes. Kind of hard to find.PROS:All of the above was met and it creates a flawless finish. The word "blur" aptly describes the look. I took a picture so you can see the color and how it looks when applied to my hand. Just flawless!Controls oilDoes not settle into the fine lines around the mouth and eyes.CONS:Has a yellow undertone. I have fair skin with a warm undertone so I can wear this, but others may not be able to.

I gave this a 3 because it does have a super light and soft feeling and lasts all day, it was too dark for my skin. I am a red head, but not super ghostly so I thought the lightest shade would work...but per usual, it was too dark. I did love the feeling of this on my skin though, so I would give it a 4 or 5 if it would come out with a more fair tone.

I have so many liquid and powder foundations, you name it I've tried it! They all settle into the pores on my nose to the point where sometimes I almost feel it looks better without makeup. I'm not usually a bb cream person because I have quite oily skin, but this stuff is magic. It is very similar to a silicone based primer, but works better. It has surprisingly good coverage, I just add another layer to problem areas, and spot conceal if needed. However, this doesn't have the best staying power, but none of my foundations ever stay on anyway! So I set it with powder, either loose or even a light layer of a powder foundation and it looks very nice. Also sometimes if I want to wear a different foundation I'll use this just on my nose area sort of like a primer. I am 28 with oily skin, minor breakouts, and an nc20 with a lot of redness, which this evens out, for reference.

I read about this product in Vogue and decided to try it, not having much success with other B&B creams. This one goes on smoothly and instantly my skin has a velvet finish, hides blemishes, and sun spots. It doesn't set into lines and can be used as a concealer also. Gives a perfect canvas for blush or contour, and it lasts all day with no shine. It's a bit expensive at $29 but a little goes a long way. Am stocking up!

I disregarded the negative reviews thinking that too many people actually like this BB, can't be bad. To me is the worst. You must have perfect skin, poreless, no dry patches, etc, etc, let's say just to even your skin tone but even then, is so silicone, makes you look like a dead doll. Accentuates your pores, dots all other your face, accentuates the dry patches even if you Don't know yet that you have them, wears horrible, after few hours your face look like a spoiled mess. I use many products from this brand but this is a high disappointment. I washed my face every time after applying this BB and have never been more grateful for my let's say imperfect skin. And I am a woman who wore foundation all her life, never scared of full coverage. Too bad I can’t return it, very busy and I just wanted to give it few tries.
