On the back there are multiple options. You can get a male XLR cable to 3.5mm, or a RCA male to 3.5mm. Assuming you have a headphone jack on your computer.

Well, yes, you COULD connect one of these to a smartphone (using an adapter); but that's not the primary use of these speakers. These are studio monitors, used for audio production (recording.mixing). They would be waaaay overkill for using with a smartphone. IMO, you'd be MUCH better off researching some speakers that were designed specifically to connect with smartphones & tablets.
