Nozzles got clogged in 2 weeks (I used the official solamist mix) :-( Tried to clean the nozzle which has been significant effort but to no success. Will try to work w/ Remington but so far wouldn't recommend this product.UPDATE -- below are verbatim correspondences with Solamist support. In a nutshell, instead of making it right, they are asking me to do bunch of testing, and after me doing all that, asking me to pay shipping so their engineers can inspect the items further. This is going back to Amazon.----@Me -- I bought a Solamist system on Amazon in June, and after 2 weeks of use, more than half of the nozzles are clogged -- no mist but only dripping water. I tried to wash the nozzles but to no success. Note that I only used official solamist concentrate as recommended, so not sure why this happened :( Please advise if I should return this to Amazon, or if you can help solve the problem (e.g., provide a full set of replacement nozzles if you have those in stock). Thx.@Solamist -- Please check the system for any clogs. You might need to let your system run without the tubing connected to get the clogs from the system out. Also soak the tees and nozzles in warm soapy water overnight to get any possible clogs out from the nozzles as well.@Me -- I did the soap thing and didn't work. I don't understand the clog part because the ones further away from the pump are working. So I can only think that the nozzles are clogged beyond simple fixes. Ship out a set of replacements please?@Solamist -- I spoke with my engineer and it seems you have a tear in the tubing causing that pressure problem. Go through all the tubing that is connected to the nozzles that aren't misting to find a tear it might be very small but it is what is causing the pressure problem it might also be how the nozzles are connected make sure those are tightly in place as well.@Me -- So -- instead of doing all that, I just took off one nozzle from the 6 that works, and swapped it w/ the one that didn't work. The working nozzle still mists, whereas the non-working one still gets clogged. Enough to know this is the nozzle problem?@Solamist -- Unfortunately we would have to troubleshoot further before we replace any equipment since it is very rare for the nozzles to be clogged upon initial delivery. If you would like you can send the suspected faulty equipment to us and I can have my engineer confirm they are defective so we can send out replacements.@Me -- I will send them back. But can you first send over the replacements since I want the system up and running in summer. Also please provide shipping label if you want me to ship them back. Let me know if this doesn't work then I will return to Amazon. Thank you.@Solamist -- Unfortunately you would have to send them on your own so we can verify condition and only after my engineer has confirmed the condition we will be able to send replacements. If you are willing to wait I can check with my supervisor tomorrow and see what else we can do to get this resolved.

I am in the process of setting my new Solamist myself. I will update my review once it is up and running. When my box arrived it looked like it was opened and then later taped shut. When I spoke with Remington Solar the customer service was very helpful. I found out that they have to add the battery packs to each unit prior to shipment. In any event, they shared some important information. Be certain to start out with the Solomist concentrate because some others can be oily and clog up the misters. I like the fact that the product is non-toxic as it will be sprayed around our pool, kids and pets. The WIFI hub is a bit tricky to set up but once set it has a strong signal. The solar rebate info is on their website so be sure to get that for tax season. I also got more information about a few of their other products and will most likely purchase their pool ionizer as well. Again, I'll update my review once I have it up and running and test the concentrate on the South Florida bugs!.

The unit would not spray, customer service is only available via email. I went through all of their troubleshooting and wasted an entire bottle of solution $149 working through the troubleshooting they kept providing via email. They wouldn’t call. They shipped a partial replacement unit. No instructions. They sent 16oz of solution (as a courtesy) but not of the type of solution they caused me to waste. I asked for a supervisor to call me, was told he’s not available but he would not be calling since they shipped the solution as a courtesy. The replacement unit still is not up and running because they send two sentence assistance on how to get the unit set up. The customer service is horrible. I can not speak to the quality of the product because I have been going back and forth for over a month trying to get it set up. If I have to rate the product based on where we are today - They sell and deliver defective products that do not work. So product functionality/quality + customer support = less than one star!

UPDATED REVIEW : OURS IS NOT RELIABLE AT ALL. Had issue at first that Remington helped with and here we are owning the system 9 months later the battery has died anD replacement is $90 thru Remington. Used their recommended solution & winterization and personally I regret purchasing this period it ! Disregard the previous review below !!!! Love the solar capability. Convenient app controlled scheduling. Or we can sit on our covered porch and use the remote for an instant spray! Currently set for 3x a day to clear up our big problem. The mist is an almost pleasant fragrance . We had some issues at first but the helpful customer service worked with us and we are very satisfied!

I purchased this system about two months ago. Initially I had trouble connecting, so I requested support from the manufacturer. No one called, instead I was sent an email that you could not even read because of all the graphics they put on it. After that I was able to figure out by trial and error how to get it connected. Within four weeks of starting to use the system the nozzles were all clogged except for two. I tried to soak them in warm water as the website suggests. It did not work and now I am stuck with a pump that essentially does nothing. The only positive thing I can say is that the solar cell works. They are solar company so I think they should stay with what they know.

Company no longer offers their solution product in Florida. They will encourage the purchase of the unit, but currently not allowed to sell the concentrate in Florida, just a buyer beware. They recommended I use a different concentrate, but that voids their warranty, so until some clarity is made there purchase with caution in Florida or perhaps any other state, check with them if you can order concentrate.

Good product and worked the first summer. Just 1 year old and the egg cracked at the bottom, trying to repair but no luck yet. Thought it would last longer than 1 year.
