Works great no difficulties
My ASUS Memo touchscreen broke when I unfortunately got a small crack in the screen. I hated getting rid of it when just the touch was broken so I did some research and ended up finding this item. I purchased this so I'd be able to attach a mouse and still use it. Works great no difficulties at all. Just plug it in and your good to go. I'd highly recommend this product if you have similar problem or just want to use an external device with your tablet

Not as pictured, B/Male longer than tablet port
Product works fine with Asus Nexus 7. Product delivered is a straight cable, not right-angle cable as pictured. B/Male plug is longer than the Nexus 7 micro port's depth. It fits, and holds firm, but does not fit flush. For comparison, the OEM B/Male sync cable is 1mm to 2mm shorter and fits flush. More OTG information at NexusTablets forum

Works as expected. Requires Android device to supply power to the attached USB device. Some USB-OTG-compatible devices require more power than your Android device is able to supply. In that case you need a powered USB OTG y-cable.Not all USB devices are USB OTG compatible. That would not be the fault of the cable. Also, on many Android devices, the device must be *ROOTED* to enable USB OTG. Again, not any fault of the cable.Cable works fine on my *ROOTED* ASUS Google Nexus 7 (2012) with low-power USB-OTG-compatible devices. If I could only have one cable though, it would be a powered y-cable.--s.c.

Excellent adapter!
Used this device to travel with my tablet (an ASUS VivoTab Smart, Windows 8.2 tablet) and it worked out very well indeed! For the first time I left my notebook machine at home and used only my tablet as I traveled across north Africa. I was able to use my jump drive and my wireless headphones (with a dongle) and I could not have been happier. The OTG adapter cable for use with a micro USB port is a high quality device at a VERY reasonable price.

Functions properly.
I use it to connect a full size USB flash drive to my Android phone.

I bought this originally to upgrade my nexus 7's storage space, though this does not work quite yet because i need to root it, i can add extra storage space to my htc one m8, i can also use a powered usb hub to add a keyboard, mouse, and ps3 controller to my nexus 7 for more use out of the tablet. I will try to update this after i finish rooting the device.

A New Dawn of Computing (not really)
Pretty much, this little cable will allow you to plug any standard usb peripheral into a Galaxy or Android device. This means regular USB cards, but it can also be used to attach a mouse to a tablet. If you already have a wireless keyboard like I do, this will turn your tablet into a laptop computer. The couple bucks I spent on this were well worth it to get the added capability.

Poor quality control and poor fit
The micro B end of this cable doesn't seat properly in the Nexus 7 (2013) receptacle -- it's too long to reach the detent. Just for fun, I ordered a second one, and that one was even worse. I imagine there's a specification somewhere for the USB connector standard, and this manufacturer hasn't bothered to adhere to it perfectly because they've decided their products are "good enough".
