Solid late entry in the series!
Each book in the series covers a specific time frame, and this one brings the series to a kind of conclusion by ending (sort of) with what is considered to be the first horror release shot on video, and direct marketed to video stores.

Excellent Look at Hollywood Horror
A look at a variety of horror movie reviews with great insights into the filmmaking industry, comments from the filmmakers themselves intersperced throughout, entertainingly written, covering a lot of different titles, shoehorned in with several profiles and articles including one on horror movies with Vermont settings. Larry Buchanan, who did a bunch of remakes of low-budget movies even lower budgets to fill out a TV movie package, provided illuminating observations about his little Texas road show. Plenty of photos too.

Great book covering little seen horror films
Great book covering little seen horror films, mainly from the late 60's and early 70's. What makes this one special is that it's not the usual grab bag of reviews, instead including some indepth interviews with the folks that mad them. Good book and good value.

Fun, Easy Ready
The headline says it all: an enjoyable book that was fun for fans of obscure horror films, especially those of the b-movie level.

Excellent overview of late 60's through CBS era horrors...
Written through sympathetic, yet still critical eyes, drive in terrors seemingly tossed aside by most are lovingly indexed by the authors to show the inevitable decline of low-budget horror in the VHS years. Nobody does it better.
