SHIMANO Alivio FC-M4050 Crank Set 9-speed 40/30/22 grey 2019 Chainsets Mountain bike

For the price £50 with the bottom bracket great value bought to replace a MT 100 octalink that came with my bike which was ok but very low end with this hollow tech crank fitted it's a much more rigged feel when you put power through the soft feeling is gone.

Done away with the original chainset that came on my Trek,the Alivio is lighter stiffer and looks a lot better,plus you can change the chainrings if they become worn out or even convert to 1x and save more weight.Top stuff from Shimano.

Replacement for hardtail and a upgrade from square tapered set up. Easily installed and looks great. Came really quickly especially during this lockdown.

Looks great, relatively light, very good quality.
