I love the table - and the assembly although time consuming was not that difficult. I would like to point out one thing though - as it had me perplexed and feeling as if I had not assemble the table correctly. Having said that - I tried aligning the table legs every which way and still could only attach them as I have. In the picture it looks as though the table legs come up right to the underside of the table top - when in fact when I assembled there is a gap. I know that I have it correctly as the other way would have left me with raw unfinished pieces of wood showing. HOWEVER, I like the gap and I think it makes the table look more architectural and less "clunky" - i think it give is some interest. I was pairing it with wicker and leather chairs and the colors all worked perfectly together. I would recommend the table for a nice reclaimed look, without a steep price tag.

Phenomenal product for the price. Do not be delusional and expect a solid wood table for $200. Let's ground ourselves in realism here and expect a $200 table. For the price, I think this product should exceed anyone but the most unreasonable person's expectations. It's very solid/stable, stylish, and looks more expensive than it is (in my opinion).I shopped tables at a traditional furniture store and walked away disappointed that the average kitchen table there was ~$800 and up, and none of them really looked all that great. This table was 1/4 the cost, took me about 30 minutes to put together, and is surprisingly nice in terms of quality. Everyone who has seen it asks where we got it and finds it to be very aesthetically pleasing. We have had a few spills and whatnot on the table and the wood did not deform or stain in any manner. I would not hesitate to purchase this again.

Only downfall, is attaching the legs. It seriously took 4x as long to get them lined up, and attached than it did to put all of the little pieces together. That in itself is causing me to take a star away. It was legit blood, sweat, tears with my partner to get this thing properly together.For some reason you attach the legs opposite, whatever that is fine. What is NOT fine, is that the holes are at different levels and you have to be very careful to line them up on each corner of the leg so that you don't put in the left wall and the right wall doesn't want to cooperate. If the holes actually lined up easily then this couldve been done quickly.And you have to use the god-forsaken L wrench which give you hand cramps to the max. My back was cramping, right along with my hands. A phillips would've meant i could've been done a lot quicker and using a screwdriver!Overall, this piece is very sturdy! But somewhere along the way I failed to use two dowels and two of the locking screw pieces - perhaps the set purposely gives extra? Regardless, it is very nice.It appears matte, because it is that veneer, cheap plastic that lays on the wood as paneling. It does appear overall like it is made of white wood until you see the white stickers coming through. With chairs it is a classy add in to an already cozy home. It will seat four comfortably and is not too big, nor too small for a traditional dining space. Beware, the box is quite heavy upon arrival and the goods are locked in very safely, so please feel free to drag. Also, I dragged the table through my home with laminate floors that needed to be swept and it came out without scuffs so it is durable!

I bought this table because of it's smaller footprint for the kitchen. It also looked sturdy and stable online. The assembly was straightforward and the tools were included. I assembled it myself (40 year old woman) in less than an hour and my husband helped me flip it over when done. Delivery was prompt and the box was in good shape.The table had some bubbles under the while finish when it arrived. These bubbles have turned into small holes which show the brown "wood" underneath. The corners (which are very sharp) have turned into dented cardboard. Not very sanitary for a kitchen table. The legs are wobbly and have to be tightened monthly.The skirt that goes around the edge of the table falls at a length that has scrapped every person's legs at some point. My toddler can't use a booster seat and fit her legs under the table. She now sits on her knees durning meals. My 8 year old has gotten two large scrapes on the thighs. I had my work skirt catch and rip. And I'm talking about the white glossy paint part of the table, there is no brown showing around the edge. The wood is just poorly painted and sealed. For safety and peace of mind I have to trash this table.I didn't expect great quality for the price, but this is basically throw away furniture for a dorm or starter apartment. If you really want to use it daily, it won't stand up to the use. I've had it less than a year and it's going to be in the trash next week. I will be getting a new table...sigh....Hope you found this review helpful.

I absolutely love this table! I understand it might be confusing as on some computer screens, the table looks like it might be laquer shiny white like a lot of ikea furniture. It is not shiny and I actually prefer the finish, it's extremely easy to wipe off. Putting this table together is a bit of a challenge but for the price is so worth it! I bought ghost chairs from Amazon as well and prayed that they matched the height of the table. I live in a smaller apartment and this table is absolutely perfect! It looks modern and clean can seat six if need be which was important for me to find a table that accomadates 6. A lot of smaller tables can only seat 4. I have received a lot of compliments and am so happy with this purchase!
