Great knife at a low price
This knife is made of excellent 8cr14mov high-carbon stainless steel that I have used on other knives for many years without issue. The blade is a full tang design and is 5 inches long and a just under 1/4 inch thick (6mm), giving the knife a weight of 14.5 ounces. It is a Survival Knife intended to be almost indestructible and able to stand a good amount of abuse in extreme conditions. The handle scales are tough micarta and are comfortable as well as giving a firm grip. The sheath is nylon and comes with a pouch containing diamond hone and fire starter. The blade came paper-cutting sharp out the box which is a big indicator of quality. You can pay a lot more for a similar knife but doubt you'd get one better

Blade is strong durable and useful. I got this knife for crafting and fire making in the woods, it blade is a heavy 5 inches and has great chopping power if the edge is sharp. If youre looking for something like a machete get the larger version otherwise youll be working a bit harder on the larger tasks but you will be able to do it with this. The handle came a little loose after buttoning a larger sapling but with the right Allan key it tightened right back up. The included knife sharpener is great for a little bit or being out in the field but doesn't finish the blade to razor sharp again invest in a quality sharpening stone

Amazing bush knife for the price
This is likely one of the best value bush knives on the market right now. It is a bit heavy at nearly a pound for the 5-6 inch blade. but it is a thick, heavy duty blade and is very good for bush craft. The steal is a bit soft but it will hold a decent edge and can be resharpened easily. You won't be disappointed I promise. the basic version without the micarta handle is less than 30 bucks. I spent the extra because I like a sturdy handle and quite frankly, it's a damn nice looking knife - otherwise, I would recommend the standard black handle which can be found for $25-30 with what is currently shipping, a pretty nice sheath as well.

The blade had a decent edge out of the box but on one side the handle material was bent out and did not fit flush and tight against the tang, also not really a fan of the black asphalt like coating its much thicker than it appears in the pics and description. Overall a decent knife but a little pricey compared to what I could've bought in the same price range. Would not buy again!

Great damn knife!!!
Best bushcraft knife I've ever owned... carries nice and easily and have carried it on many long hikes and overnighters. Yes it's a little heavy, and a 1/4" full tang makes it perfect for the outdoors. I've eliminated both my camp axe and whittling knife from my hiking gear. Used it for everything from digging human waste ditches, to gutting my Buck last winter, to splintering and feathering kindling for a nice fire when camping... Just buy it, it's a beautiful and extremely functional knife!

GREAT AWARD WINNING KNIFE
I love this knife. It is somewhat like an Esee 4. It is solid, heavy, holds an edge, with good grip. The model 36 gets many complaints due to the coating on the blade. Nevertheless this is an award winning knife! With heavy use the blade coat becomes less a problem. In addition, the price of this knife is unbelievable! I may buy several for gifts in the coming year.

Nice inexpensive hunting knife
Knife has a solid feel to it and comes with a convenient sheath that can house spare outdoor tools. It's got a bit of weight to it and can be used in the woods for a bunch of different tasks. Not the most expensive knife, but for outdoor use, it's meant to get beat up. Wanting a tool, this will fit the bill.
