Manfrotto Double End Stud Adapter, 5/8" + 3/8" Thread and 5/8" + 1/4" Thread. (#3094)

I brought another one.

The Manfrotto 013 is one of many adapters I keep in my studio to help make diverse pieces of gear work together. Sometimes I need to attach a video light to a Manfrotto 175 Spring Clamp: simply slide the 013 into the 5/8" socket, tighten the t-screw and you're in business. The 013 also has 1/4" and 3/8" screws for adding a cold shoe, Arca clamp or small ball head. The brass is top quality but, after all, is relatively soft metal and thus prone to dings and scratches from t-screws. After a few years of use, mine is rustic dark brown and scarred but still works as good as new. All in all a handy and well made adapter. I probably should buy another one...

It works. Received on time and is an official Manfrotto replacement part.

So much better than buying cheaper soft tat from China, this is very well made, robust and will survive much long than cheaper spigots.

Indubbiamente di ottima fattura: in ottone e palesemente lavorato al tornio. Assolutamente un altro pianeta rispetto ai prodotti in alluminio pressofuso. Certo, fosse stato in acciaio inox sarebbe stato ancora più resistente, ma probabilmente, considerati i carichi che deve sopportare, anche l'ottone è più che sufficiente. Ben fatta anche la zigrinatura centrale: permette una presa davvero ottima. Quanto al costo, rispetto ai prodotti cinesi che si possono comprare su Ebay, è sicuramente più caro, tuttavia anche costando il doppio stiamo parlando di una differenza di 5 euro. Considerando quindi che questo tipo di giunto viene utilizzato per attaccarci attrezzatura il cui costo può arrivare a varie centinaie di euro, tanto vale comprarselo di buona qualità.
