Generic Replacement Vacuum Dusting Brush Compatible With Kenmore Canister

What I expected

Exactly the same as original that came with my sears vacuum purchased in 2002

I liked that it fits the hose. I like that the bristles are not so long as to be sucked into the hose. They only thing that I noticed that causes for more attention. The vacuum suction needs to be decreased when using. If used at full suction, the the outside edges start to pull towards the center narrowing the intake hole. Aside from that the bristle attachment allows me to get dust off lots of surfaces without damaging the surface I am cleaning.

A replacement brush if you’ve lost one. I found it to be a little loose but works ok. When you change the bag in your machine remember to clean the filter in the chamber. They clog and reduce the effectiyof the vacuum.

This is a pretty close copy of the actual Kenmore product. I have been using this type of brush attachment for 30 years. With the type of bristles this design uses and the elongated shape it is prefect for dusting whether it be in the home or car. The only issue I have come across is the inner bristles tend to get sucked into the inner area and block the suction to a degree, I used a hair trimmer to remove some of the inner bristles and this seemed to work. The fit is a standard size so it fit fine with my non-Kenmore vacuum cleaner. This product is a reasonably good alternative since sears is a disappearing company.
