Xume 77mm Filter Holder

The concept of magnetic filter holders attaching varying threaded filters to your lens with the quickness of a Formula 1 racecar is awesome. It does come at a price though, both financially and with regard to "some" lens hoods. Expensive but worth it - nothing more to say about the cost. The lens hoods on my Nikon 70-200mm and 24-70mm lenses both have a locking mechanism requiring a button push - this apprently makes the hood incompatible with the XUME system (unless someone can prove me wrong, at which time I will gladly thank that person and rescind my evaluation of this product line.) Outside of the requirement to unthread the Xume adapter to get the lens hood on/off, once the hood is in place, you can re-thread the adapter in place and apply any lens filters with the ease and speed of that aforementioned F1 racecar.
