Does the job...
...but that is about it. Once you engage the clear flap underneath to protect subsequent checks from being imprinted by the one you are writing on, it feels like you will damage the below checks. Mind you, it did not damage them, but it is truly thin, all around. Had I picked it up in a store, i would not have bought it. But, it does the job.

Do not buy!
This thing is a total piece of crap. First of all I ordered a top-stub style, this was standard so right off the bat it is unusable for me. Plus the plastic material is an absolute joke. It is so thin and flimsy I am sure (if it was the correct product in the first place) it would have come apart after a week. Waste of money.

Flimsy
I didn't give it one star because it does serve a purpose but it is the flimsiest checkbook cover that I've ever had. Most checkbook companies give you a free vinyl cover that's of a better quality than this one. Purchase one when you order your checks from whomever you order from. This one is not worth the money

It arrived when it was supposed to. I haven't had this long enough to rate durability. The material is thinner than I expected but it was cheap so I'm keeping it.

This Is All You Need
Replacement for beat up 16 year-old identical cover that I had gotten for free from my original bank in 2005. It arrived 2-days earlier than I requested which was very nice. Best feature of this checkbook cover is that it DOES have the plastic insert to hold the check register in snuggly & for DUPLICATE Check separation between check numbers. It fits your standard checkbook/register perfectly.Buy with confidence!

Good enough and inexpensive
Fully functional. Wouldn't want to use it dailly and take it out of the house, but I only write a few checks a month, and this works. I expect it to last a long time.

Not worth the money.
I'm not sure what I expected, I'm disappointed . Very thin plastic. I would return it, but it's not worth the hassle.

Great checkbook cover for the price.
Great checkbook cover. Only brand I found that had the flap to keep the register open. Plenty durable for the price. Nice choice of colors too.
