Great travel bag!
Both my wife and I have one of these bags. We are able to carry all of our gear with room to spare. I am 6'2' and wear XL and do not have a problem fitting my gear. That includes, fins, mask,/snorkel, 3m full wetsuit, BCD, gloves, boots and misc. Accessories. Torch, reel, etc. The only thing I do not put in is my reg. Set and computer for security purposes. Bag rolls easily and us well constructed.

Great bag, but not as good as the previous model
I had the older version of this bag for years. It was black with orange trim on it. It was great, but after 5+ years of salty scuba gear, the collapsable handle finally rusted up and got stuck in the stored position, so, I upgraded to this one. This bag is wider and not as thick as the previous design but has about the same capacity. I know it's still new, but the wheels are way better than the previous one and roll very smoothly. I never had a problem with the rpevious model rusting at the wheels, so I dont' expect this one to either, since I assume the axel and bearing assembly is relatively unchanged. The main compartment fits a 7mm dive suit, medium sized BC, booties, mask, snorkel, regulator, dive light, chem lights, and a couple game bags and medium fins no problem. In case you were wondering, the side pockets do not fit a pair of fins, but they fit in the main compartment just fine. The material doesn't seem as thick as the older bag either, but it seams sturdy and durable enough. I wish it had the same handle stitched onto the front of the bag like the older model as that made loading a heavy dive bag much easier. I've been using the black straps across the front as a handle and they have held up so far.Time will tell if this thing starts to rust, but the handle and slider assembly seems to be made out of a different material, so maybe it will stand up to salty water better over the years. I'll update this review if I get issues with the handle or wheel assemblies and the salty water. Over all, I love the Akona bags and hope this one stands up as well as my previous one.I deducted one star since the material seems thinner and not as think/tough as the previous one I owned, hopefully the explanation for that is because they are using a better material that is equivalent in strength and durability. The one star deduction also includes not having the handy front carrying strap like the old one as well as not having the larger separated compartment like the previous one that allowed more gear to be stored apart from the main compartment. Having two additional compartments separated by a heavy duty mesh allowed my regulator to be stored separately from my dive lights and chem lights and things, which were also divided from the main compartment.

It is BIG enough
Great bag. Large, roomy, easy to roll alongside a suitcase if necessary. fins fit easily in one side pocket.

Seam Split First Time Out!
I loved this bag . . . until I got it home from the first trip I used it on and found that the seam along the top edge had just split open! There's a six inch section that's come totatlly unsewed! And it's too late to send it back!

Seams split after one use
Bought this bag and was super excited. Held two sets of gear. Went on one trip and the bag couldn’t handle it. The seam across the top by the handle split. First use and it’s garbage. My friend has an older bag that has gone on dozens of trips with no problem. Akona’s quality has gone seriously downhill and other sites are reporting reviews with the same issue. Stay away

There are better bags out there...move along.
I had the earlier version of this bag and it lasted for a decade. I bought this one and used it on 4 dive trips - 1 to Solomon Islands, 1 to Key West, 1 to Key Large and 1 to Grand Cayman. By the 4th trip, the seams were torn wide open. One of the clamps on the compression straps also cracked in half. Amazon was nice enough to offer me a partial refund, even without being able to locate the order!!!!! So, amazon gets five stars. The bag, 1 star. I am sure there are better and more durable bags out there. This one is certainly affordable but not so much when you have to replace it after only four trips.

It's light. It stands up when full and it can fit two sets of dive gear if you don't have a lot of heavier wets suits & BCS
It looks like it's going to fit 2 sets of fins, and two travel BCs and our wetsuits but their light ones. I like the fact that it doesn't seem to fall over when full, which is important in a crowded airport when you're in a line for tickets or security. We haven't travelled with it yet but are planning a July dive trip to Cayman so I can let you know how it does on the trip.

Good Bag, Lousy Zipper system.
Good Bag, Easy to roll, Cleans easily, Lots of room, only problem is the zipper catches on the material and I have to CUT the material to release the zipper, bad design.
