Woodland Scenics Coarse Turf - 1 Qt

I use it for "weeds" on my HO scale train layout. It looks great, is very easy to use and very cost effective. I use it for areas around "water" and other green areas where a lawn mower would never go. Also works great in a pasture setting. Spray or drop on a little scenic cement sprinkle on the product and then if you want, arrange it with a finger or a small spatula. Simple. You can dress it up with some colored berries to simulate wildflowers. Helps an amateur such as myself build a scene like a professional.

The "Coarse Turf Shaker" is a great product. Not only is it a time saver (try making your own turf...it takes forever), but the quality is really good. The shaker bottle makes it very convenient to use and store. I have had the experience of a plastic bag of turf tear up and leak all over the place. It is a waste of product that I did not enjoy experiencing. This product is reasonably priced and an excellent value for the amount of turf I got in the containers. I recommend buying at least two different turf colors and textures to achieve a more realistic appearance. I found that this turf does need a good amount of adhesive onto the surface to work well but it is well worth the effort. It could be the texture which was more coarse than than some of the other turf material that I have purchased. I really like the way it looks and it is really nice for making bushes. I also let my daughter use some of the product in her school project of building a mission and it worked well for that too.

You get a bunch of this in a fully-packed shaker/lid container. Sticks together well and in creating bushes and "trees" a bit of watery glue works well. On its own the green fibers stick to themselves somewhat and I use it around areas where you would expect higher growth, utility poles, pastures, etc.

Flock is nice but the packaging was awful. The cap came off so a quarter of the flock came out into the package. Glad I didn’t order anything else with it or it would have been coated.

I ordered this, and one other color, to coat a full 6x4' table and various terrain parts. It worked well and was easy to apply and we didn't see any issues with the product in drying. We got a surprising amount of use out of the two containers. I would recommend it.

Great Product, Fast shipping

Good value, lots of fluffy green stuff comes in this bottle, so unless you're covering a huge space, this should last quite a while!

Advertised as static grass, is actually regular. Not usable in a static dispenser
